What’s Happening at the K
June has been a fun month, filled with warm
weather and lots of riding. ☺
We have had a fantastic first camp!! The weather
was beautiful and the horses loved all the attention!
Campers had much to do in the jam packed week
of fun, which included riding twice a day and
learning tons of information about horses. We were
so proud of each camper as they all excelled in
both their riding and their great attitude towards
taking care of the horses. Please check out the

The hot weather is upon us…please bring out fly soon! Thank you to all volunteers who helped with
spray, masks or fans for your wonderful horses the week. These girls couldn’t have so much fun
to keep them cool and comfortable during the without you!
To give access to more horse time, HKS has
introduced a new leasing program. Students can
lease one of our horses and for $275 per month
have access to riding the horse and practicing
on their own….and this will INCLUDE a weekly
lesson. Many of you have already taken
advantage of this great opportunity but there are
still some horses available!

seeing their beautiful foals next spring!!

The goal of HKS is that I want you to say “I
am living my equestrian dream…..” no matter
what it is!
Also, congrats to all of those who attended the TTC
Show Jumping Show. To view pictures please visit

great shots of each of the competitors. A special
congrats to Jennifer and Pokey who went double
clear both times to place in their first SJ Show.

Hello all…. Pony Club has been very exciting so far
and July will be just the same! We would like to
welcome guest speaker Mary Ruth from LTD and
Bartlett feeds on July 15th for an exciting and
informative presentation and discussion on nutrition.
Also, the 25th (mounted meeting) we have a special
surprise including game riding!
