with the Women'sStudiesTenth Birthday
and the Olympics,it was stressfulalso.
Thisyearwecansavorthe "ordinary"things
we do, Tte program organizesand/or
supports many opportunitiesto socialize
anddiscusswomen'sissues,someof whioh
follow The Women's StudiesOpening
Meetingwill be held Thursday,Sept.5ft at
2:00PM a14834VanBurenAve. Also,be
looking for further informationabout the
anrrual Picnic and Book Donation/Sale,
tentativelyset for the afternoonof Sunday,
Oct.6m.Thisis a wonderfulopportunityto
includefriendsand family in out Women's
Studies cirple. Community mernbers,
students and prospective students are
particularlywelcome. Servicesfor Wome'n
Studentsstill plans to host Wisdom on
Wednesdaysat noon most weeks. Be
lookingfor their flyers and support them
whenyou can. The OlderWomen'sLeague
in Ogdennowand
(OWI,)is well-established
meetsoncea month at the GoldenHours
Center;the next meetingwill be held Sept.
