THUMBRAKE SYSTEMS
Cast Master, Billet handlebar, Forkmount
GPtech llc manufactures three thumbrake
models. All systems are designed to work
with the existing foot master cylinder. Thumbrakes are sold with a Goodridge stainless
steel –3 line (enough from the thumbrake to
the foot master cylinder), dual foot thumb fitting (junction valve), banjos and crush washers. GPtech llc’s junction valve is a first in the
industry: —designed to work with the foot master rather than eliminate the OEM unit
(available for most current sportbikes). The
junction valve can be used in a race or stunting application where the rider needs both
foot and thumb operations. This type of engineering lends itself to special applications.
BILLET HANDLEBAR
Best suited for supermotard and dirt applications—will
work for stunting and roadrace. Provides the most
power—multi adjustable. Will lock the rear wheel in a
motard or dirt application. Mounts on the left handlebar.

FORKMOUNT
The most advanced thumbrake model. Originally designed for AMA Superbike competition. Allows user to
mount the brake in the tightest of spaces. Multi adjustable. Utilizes a 11mm or 13mm master cylinder. $489

STUNTING

GPtech stunt kits available for most modern sportbikes. Kits include: line, banjos,
crush washers, and junction valve (allows use of both foot / thumb / pull type
master within same system). Available with or without pull type master. Works
with all thumbrake models. Components available separately.
New for 2007 is an integrated cap with clutch lever to fit Brembo pull type master. This cap enables the user to have one lever operating the rear brake and

BILLET BREAKAWAY DESIGN

New for 2006 The billet breakaway design fairing bracket allows the
user to adjust the ears and dash. This design can be adjusted to push
the fairing and windscreen in a position to give the rider better aerodynamics. Bracket is multi adjustable to accommodate variations in different body work. $174

BREAKAWAY FAIRING BRACKET
GPtech fairing brackets are designed to breakaway in the event of a 7
crash. Saving expensive dash components and making repairs quick
and easy. Pull the cotter pin and remove damaged “ear” - install new
ear and off you go. Lightweight design. Powder coated aluminum
main body. Detachable dash plate. Breakaway ears are made out of
a thinner wall aluminum. Used by top teams and privateers alike.

BREAKAWAY LEVERS (front brake model)

Designed to breakaway in the event of a crash. In the high
stakes of professional Supersport and Superstock racing
you need a lever that produces results. As the race progresses the OEM brakes tend to fade—the
remote adjustment feature of the levers allows the rider to dial out more lever travel
without letting off the throttle. Each GPtech
lever is hand ground and hand buffed get the
perfect contour. Captive rod end provides
smooth adjustment. OEM fits most current
sportbikes with Nissan or Brembo OEM master cylinders.

YZ450 roadrace conversion parts
available for 06 to 08 model years
Converting a dirtbike to a roadracer is easier and more affordable than you might9think.
GPtech has designed parts for the YZ450 with simplicity and durability being the main focus.
The frame, swingarm, subframe, engine, radiators and gas tank are all oem YZ450 (no
welding or special parts are required to make the transition to roadracer). It was important to
GPtech to make converting a YZ450 basic and straightforward with no fabricating involved.
A few key parts are manufactured by GPtech, making the conversion simple and straightforward. The components needed consist of a shift arm, rearset relocation plates, a tank cover, a
set of fairing brackets, and a longer steering stem (mates R6 front end to standard YZ450 headstock).
The remainder of parts are not uncommon to the average racer converting a streetbike to
track use. Additional basic parts include TZ250 bodywork, rearsets, rear shock, exhaust, clip-ons,
and an oil overflow can with a refilling oil bolt.
Starting with a salvaged R6 front end for $500, an average cost for a build is $4200. With
an abundance of roadrace and motard parts on the market there are plenty of upgrade items
available.
GPtech testing and development info is available to all customers. Technical support is
paramount in developing the bike to best suit each rider’s needs. GPtech races what they sell - dependability, performance and versatility are keys to a successful design.

Using a SXV 4.5 as a starter project, GPtech applied the same build concept to
the Aprilia. Very few parts make up the conversion kit (making the service easier and straight forward) clip-ons, rear, brake lines crash protection, fender

and a selection of setback plates. All rearsets set the peg back 28mm and up 24mm, with the exception of the works set—(multi adjustable). T6 7075 aluminum. Spare parts available separately for
