GREAT FEAST OF PENTECOST/ HOLY SPIRIT VESPERS
Directly after Divine Liturgy, before the distribution of nafura/antidiron, we will serve the Vespers of the
Descent of the Holy Spirit, with the “kneeling prayers”.
MATINS/ORTHROS
Beginning on Pentecost Sunday, May 31, we will begin serving the Matins/Orthros Service before the Divine
Liturgy. Orthros will begin at 8:50AM, and the Divine Liturgy will still begin at 10:00AM. Readers for
Matins can volunteer in the Church Office, or on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.
BAKING WORKSHOPS

We need 5 to 7 people for strudel making and 3or 4 for lemon pita. Please call or see Terry Govelovich if

PICNIC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
June 7th is our first picnic for the year. Many of the work areas are staffed, however the 4:30 to 6 PM shift in
the kitchen and bake shoppe, need several volunteers. We also need a few volunteers for cleanup and also
helping out with directing cars in the parking lot. As
part of Stewardship, this is your opportunity to
participate by volunteering your time. We need your
help to make this a success. Please see the sign-up

2015 YOUTH CONFERENCE
For all church school students entering 9th grade in the fall through graduating seniors this 2015 - The 10th
Annual Serbian Orthodox Youth Conference will be held in Washington, D.C. June 24 - 28.
If you have not yet completed your application, it is due June 15, but we would like to get an approximate
count of who is planning on going. Jevgenija Radanovic will have applications available if you have not yet
received one. Please let her know ASAP if you intend to go.

Due to lack of participation, the Penn’s Cave Trip has been cancelled.
