Sundown Sponsorship
Sundown Sponsorship 2015 First Thursdays this Summer Love where you live? Welcome to Sundown. A quintessential celebration of summertime, 2015 marks the sixth year of our concert series. The series is hosted at Ecotrust’s Natural Capital Center, located in the heart of Portland’s vibrant Pearl District. This year Sundown will coincide with First Thursday, a lively 31-year tradition highlighting Portland’s arts and culture scene. Free outdoor concerts bring together top local musicians—like Typhoon, Laura Gibson, and Portland Cello Project—with our Innovation Showcase, a lively street fair-style exhibition featuring an array of local businesses, nonprofits, and other missionbased organizations who are changing the way we live and do business here in the Northwest. The series provides a platform for these organizations to share their work and create authentic connections—all to the beat of Portland’s best independent musical acts. For over 20 years, Ecotrust has pioneered the way for economies, communities, and nature to thrive together, not apart. We envision a future in which every activity—from forestry to farming to building cities or making widgets—builds social, ecological, and financial value. And we believe this new economy starts here—in our backyards, communities, cities, and regions. Each concert focuses on a different theme that is important to the wellbeing of people and place. Environmental impact is considered in every planning decision. The series features free tap water drinking stations, a compostable-only policy on food and beverage wares, a free bike valet station, a solar/biodiesel/wind power source, and an aggressive recycling and composting plan. Sundown sponsors enjoy broad multi-channel exposure, a vibrant and interactive public presence, and—of course!—all the fun of joining one of the most innovative events of the summer. The Innovation Showcase provides a platform to showcase your organization’s work and create meaningful connections with a highly engaged audience. Ecotrust’s marketing and promotion team provides excellent brand recognition through web, social media, radio, and good old-fashioned print exposure. Sundown concerts receive extensive coverage through media sponsorships with Entercom Radio, 94.7FM, Chinook Book, and more. Sundown takes advantage of Ecotrust’s social media reach, with 8,300 Twitter followers, 4,300 Facebook friends, and 8,700 email subscribers. Hosting 3,000+ concert attendees over a three-month period at the height of summer means significant public exposure for your business or organization. With three unique concerts featuring different bands, sponsors are able to tap into a wide and changing demographic of attendees— from college-age students to young families to Pearl District neighbors and Portland professionals. Our attendees—described by past sponsors as “early adopters”—tend to be technologically savvy, creative, and actively interested in the environment, healthy lifestyle options, local arts, and fun educational opportunities. 3 Free outdoor concerts 3,000+ Attendees 4,300 Facebook friends 8,300 Twitter followers 8,700 Email subscribers Sponsorship details To sign up, please contact Jeanne Kubal at [email protected] or 503.467.0764 Evening Host Inspirational Sponsor Evening Host Sponsors enjoy the highest level of visibility at Sundown.
