Contest Winners
A total of 99 entries were received.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
Beth Dillman, Hannibal Contact
Center, Cleaning Products
Beth not only makes her own cleaning solution from vinegar, she puts all
her citrus peelings into the jar with the
vinegar. After two weeks of “curing”
she has a natural cleaning solution that
smells fresh and wonderful.
Becky Trewartha,
Dickeyville Contact
Center, Recycling
Marvin Becker, Monroe
Receiving, Electricity/Energy
Marv built his home with extra
insulation and faced it to use the
sun as efficiently as possible. He
also installed a wind turbine to
produce enough power for his
home and farming needs!
Becky actively recycles,
but she and her family
also work with many
organizations in the
community to set up
recycling practices from garbage cleanup
days to cleaning out
rivers! Pictured with
Sue Knief (left).
Misty Thill, Dickeyville Contact
Center, Water
Adam Krebs, Monroe Fulfillment, and Nellie Chapleau,
Internet Dept., Tie - Transportation
Adam bikes to work when the weather cooperates and owns an
energy-efficient vehicle. Nellie sought out employees to carpool for
her long commute. She also owns a car with a high MPG rating.
Misty cuts down on water use in her
garden by consolidating space and
mulching to hold moisture in. She also
collects rain water for the garden. She
has found ways to reduce water usage
when washing the car, the laundry, and
the dishes!
