(Fox, 1928), WPA works (Nicolet School, 1938), walk Indian
School Lane which is all that is left to remember St. Boniface
Indian School. The walk will then go through San Gorgonio
Memorial Park which was once part of the Morongo Indian
Reservation, then traded to
Southern Pacific Railroad
who sold it to the city. It will

San Gorgonio Ave. in 1913
and became to first tree

Event 3: Beaumont/Cherry Valley, PA16/104337. Rated 1A.
The Beaumont/Cherry Valley Water District Recharge Center
consists of eight giant water holding basins. The water is supplied
from mountain run-off and water wells throughout this area. The
stored water is used by both communities. Directly
adjacent to the recharge center is the nine acre Demonstration
Garden. The 10K walk
continues through Oakview
Park with its gorgeous view
of the San Bernardino
Mountain Range and San
Gorgonio Mountain (highest
mountain in So. Calif. at
11,503 ft.).
The 5K walk will take you
through parts of small town
Cherry Valley. You will pass
Riverside County-Cherry Valley Fire Station 22, one of the oldest

Special Programs Food For Thought, Honoring Our Flag, Take a
Walk In a City Park, Walk the USA - Street by Street
Event 4: Redlands, PA16/104336. Rated 2B.
Beginning in the 119 year old Prospect Park, the “Palms and
Palaces” walk continues through neighborhoods that contain
Victorian (such as Kimberly Crest), Edwardian (Miraflores),
Craftsman and Modern style buildings. Multiple “social levels” of housing
are evident on this walk. The estates,
supervisors’ and middle managers’
homes are distinctly different in size,
style and land plots. This area is a
classic example of the Empire and Era of
the “Orange Kingdom”.

Animal Safari, Bridges - Spanning the

Honoring our flag, Make a Wish – Water
Fountain, National Register of Historic Places, Points of
