Three wireless technologies realize an easy shooting style.
The camera and controller are connected by Bluetooth®. This facilitates sending images in real time for monitoring, such as for
shooting or playback. The timing for sending the images to your smartphone is controlled by Bluetooth® Smart. Practically,
sending images to your smartphone is done by Wi-Fi, which is superior for large transmission amounts. Wi-Fi is used for
actually sending images to your smartphone as it’s ideal for large amounts of data. The image and video you shoot and collect in
a day are transferred smoothly. We’ve finally optimized these 3 wireless methods with Casio’s original technologies.
16mm*1 super wide-angle lens gives you greater surprise
and excitement in outdoor activity.
We’ve finally achieved a super wider angle (f=16mm*1, 107° view angle) in such a compact body, so that you can record images
without any worry of shooting composition while enjoying activity, and visualize vast landscapes more dynamically. The excellent
peripheral resolution makes images clear right to the corners of the screen, even over a wide range of focal lengths. Aspherical
shapes are used on all 6 lenses to achieve both miniaturization and excellent image quality. Improved MTF performance, plus
reductions in one-side blurring, chromatic aberration and ghosting all contribute to the excellent image quality. Improved macro
performance also makes it easier to use (about 3 cm*2 ). And it prevents movement of the focus lens when dropped.

circuitry (2 CPUs and 2 ISPs *1) and a DRP *2 that always allows the latest algorithms to be applied, we’ve achieved amazing fast
image processing, even when complex image analysis and image processing are running in parallel. It maximizes its abilities in
outdoor activities, such as capturing decisive moments, reducing blur and its rapid sharing.

Recording the best image via advanced sensing technologies.
We all want to get the best impression of ourselves having fun and enjoying our outdoor activities or of an exciting scenery. To
meet all customers requirements, when shooting with the FR100, it uses motion sensors, such as for sensing vibration and tilt,
and it analyzes a vast amount of data in real time, such as exposure, AF effect, face data, shooting angle, composition, amount
of shake, contrast, camera work, etc. That allows it to record the best, most realistic image.
Comfortable tough performance enables the camera to
withstand rugged outdoor conditions.
Our thorough pursuit of toughness and comfort is done with astonishing attention to detail, such as the floating structure to
guard against shocks through functional elasticity inside its body, adopting a dual reinforced cover glass structure. Furthermore,
the hinge unit (interconnection part), which holds the camera and controller together, is made of stainless steel using the metal
injection molding process, which forms and sinters the metallic powder. This produces a gentle sloped shape which cannot be
achieved with steel, a smooth fitness and sense of unity, and strength and rigidity no resin can give.
