his collection offers distinctive works of art that blend the natural shapes and materials
of the Lowveld into a modern urban aesthetic. The organic lines enhance the natural
shapes and patterns of the wood in the creation of highly durable pieces of furniture
which will last for generations.
Each piece conveys the story of the individual tree it originated from and thereby further
reinforces nature’s beauty and imperfections by revealing its age and characteristics that
makes each piece exclusive. All pieces are completely unique due to variations in colour,
grain pattern and texture. They embrace imperfections such as cracks and crevices that
naturally occur during drying as well as the slight changes in form that happen with shift
in humidity and reaction to weather.
All wood pieces come from recovered logs and are certified by accredited environmental organizations.

Niniejsza kolekcja przedstawia znaczące realizacje artystyczne nawiązujące kształtami i wykorzystujące materiały Afryki Południowej.
Organiczne formy wydobywają naturalne linie i wzory drewna w tworzonych obiektach-meblach.
Precyzja wykonania i doskonała znajomość materiału, w jakim artysta pracuje, daje tym obiektom ponadczasową wartość. Każdy eksponat opowiada inną historię. JDN nadaje im drugie
życie, pozwalając odbiorcy zobaczyć przeszłość drzewa, a faktura materiału, układ słoi, drobne
defekty są nierzadko śladem wydarzenia, które miało miejsce setki lat temu. Wrażliwość artysty i ręka mistrza pozwala nam ujrzeć te niezwykłe historie.
Dla miłośników przyrody nie bez znaczenia będzie też fakt, że wszystkie obiekty powstaly z
uratowanych pni i posiadają certyfikaty akredytowanych organizacji ochrony środowiska.
