P&O Ferries Selects The Logic Group To Set Sail On Its Omni-Channel Strategy
London, 30th September 2014 – Payments, insights and loyalty specialist, The Logic Group, today announced
that P&O Ferries has selected its multichannel payments solution, Solve Centurion to offer customers easier
and more secure payments on-board, online and via its call centres.
Winner of the ‘Best Ferry Operator’ accolade (Travel Weekly Globe Awards) for the twelfth year in a row, forward-thinking P&O
Ferries applied learnings from the ever evolving retail sector to shift from a multi-vendor, fragmented payments infrastructure to a
simplified, multichannel approach through a single provider. As a result, P&O Ferries is adopting a future-proof managed payments
service that integrates all its channels and improves its legacy infrastructure. This approach provides the company with the speed
and agility to respond to changing customer needs and emerging payment technologies, in addition to reducing the costs of fraud
and PCI compliance.
“To maintain a leadership position in the dynamic travel and
transport services industry, customer service and enablement
must be at the heart of the business. Forward-thinking and
innovative use of technology is vital to help deliver timely and
trusted services to customers,” said Chris Cook, CIO, P&O Ferries.
“Having committed to offering our customers more ways to pay,
P&O Ferries wanted to make sure that this improved service,
would also be simpler and more secure while also meeting some
very unique challenges. The Logic Group’s Solve Centurion

a single platform for our entire business – both at sea, on shore
and on the web.”
