The Vikings primary goal for seating at the
University of Minnesota was to develop a
straightforward and equitable system that
allocates seat locations at TCF Bank Stadium
as consistently as possible in relation to your
current seat locations at Mall of America Field.
Whenever possible, we attempted to honor
past seating preferences such as aisle and
height and assigned the next best comparable
seats within the stadium.

The Vikings will play at the University of Minnesota
for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. After 32 years
of playing indoors in a climate-controlled
environment, the Vikings will return to the great
outdoors. Its time to once again experience football
outdoors on a beautiful Minnesota Fall day.
The stadium at the University of Minnesota has
two levels with an open end to the West. A large
scoreboard is also located on the West end. The
upper level has a nice overhang which provides a
very close view of the field. You will enjoy a much
wider concourse and an increased number of
restroom facilities for the handful of games we will
be playing outdoors. We hope you will enjoy the
novelty of returning to our Vikings roots and enjoy
Vikings football in the elements while our new
home is being built.

returns to its roots, for a fan experience that hasn’t been

Minnesotans remember Met Stadium for its cold and snowy
games, but the truth is that many of the games played at the
University of Minnesota will likely include some of Minnesota’s
most favorable annual weather conditions.
Centrally located between Minneapolis and St.
Paul, the University of Minnesota is accessible
from I-94 and I-35W, and is easy to get to. The
introduction of the new Light Rail Transit Red
Line in June of 2014 will allow fans to travel
both from downtown St. Paul and downtown
Minneapolis to the University of Minnesota.
There is limited parking on campus, and
abundant parking nearby at the State Fair
Grounds, just minutes away via shuttle bus.

In early 2014, we will begin the seat selection
process for the new Vikings Stadium. Over
the course of the subsequent 13 months,
each Minnesota Vikings Season Ticket Owner
will receive a personal New Stadium Seating
Consultant and will be invited to visit our
New Stadium Preview Center to learn about
