CNHC Camexpo Seminar:

CNHC will be holding a seminar to update
all attendees on its success to date. Both
Maggy Wallace (Executive Chair) and
Maggie Dunn (CEO & Registrar) will be
present to answer any questions you may
have and provide information on the world
of CAM regulation.

The annual UK event dedicated to complementary healthcare, will be kick-starting on
Saturday 23rd October, looking to have yet another successful year. With over
180 exhibitors, 2 days of seminars and workshops and even awards, there is something
for all, whether you are new or old to the sector. The CPD education programme may
also be of benefit to a number of practitioners.

Get publicity for your business
We’re looking for practitioners who would be willing to be part of a publicity campaign
designed to raise awareness of the CNHC register among the public. We’d love to hear
from people who have had referrals as a result of being on the CNHC register.
We are also keen to hear from anyone who would be willing to work with us by being
the subject of a case study to help raise awareness of the CNHC in local media. This is
a great opportunity for you to get some publicity for your own business as well. Please

CPD Questionnaire – a thank you
from CNHC!
CNHC would like to thank all of those who
helped with our questionnaire on CPD. An
analysis of the results was presented to
the Professional Standards Committee in
September and a consultation document is
currently being circulated to PSB members
for comment.

promoting its register amongst the general
public. Following staff requests, the poster
was sent to a number of doctors surgeries
in the Surrey and Berkshire area. Do you

Further Disciplines For CNHCs Register...
CNHC currently registers 9 disciplines – Alexander Technique teaching, Aromatherapy,
Bowen Therapy, Massage Therapy, Nutritional Therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Sports
and Remedial Therapy and Yoga. CNHC’s register will be opening to Naturopathy in
November and Hypnotherapy in December 2010. For further information, keep an
eye on CNHC’s website – www.cnhc.org.uk. Other groups in the frame for agreeing a
start date for registration include Craniosacral and Reiki. Healers and Microsystems
Acupuncture hopefully will be along in 2011.
