The Astra 8x8 is the largest and most heavy duty off-road

The Stralis is one of the most comfortable and versatile
trucks in the Iveco product line-up and is available in 4x2,
6x2, 6x4 and 8x4 configurations in a variety of wheelbases
across a selection of rigid and prime mover variants –
there are 13 main models to choose from. The latest
enhancement to the range is the Stralis AS-L Series II prime
mover which boats 560hp from an engine that has been
developed to suit demanding Australian conditions. Stralis
models are widely used for single trailer and B-Double
work as well as in hooklift, tanker, and general haulage
applications.

HEAVY DUTY ROAD TRAIN FOR AUSTRALIA
The Powerstar 7800 is the newest addition to the Powerstar
range and Iveco’s flagship model. Offering an all-American
driveline, the 7800 is a heavy duty workhorse which can
haul the largest loads right up to 140 tonnes. Like other
Powerstar models, the 7800 combines the benefits of a
conventional truck with the added cabin space, refinement and
road manners of a European truck. The 7800 was developed
in Australia and is manufactured locally to suit tough and
demanding remote area applications including road train
livestock transportation and heavy haulage work.
