Translation in brief:
Saigon Scooter Center ton 08/12/2011 announced that registrations are open for the Sixth Annual
Christmas Scooter Run. 2011 sees the Motorbike Militia headed for Nha Be's Chua La Cu, which
plays home to over 40 children, numerous Agent Orange victims and elderly people.
“The 2010 run broke all records,” said amiable organiser Patrick Joynt. “We had over 360 bikes
and well over 400 people joining the ride out to Dong Nai, and rose over US$7,000 in cash, and
literally hundreds of gifts which were given out by Santa Claus on the day.”
“2011 will see our first time in Ho Chi Minh City,” Patrick added. “It should be an interesting ride out
through district 7, where we will visit the pagoda, and from there, head around the city's periphery,
over the Phu My Bridge, bound for Cafe Xe Co in Thu Duc, where our usual array of activities will
follow.”
The run will take place on 18 December 2011 at 9.30 am, commencing at Sesame Restaurant at
153 Xo Viet Nghia Tinh Street in Binh Thanh District.
Further information can be had at www.saigonscootercentre.com and at the Facebook page ('Not
