About the Conference

The Chicagoland Safety & Health Conference is for
Professionals who have safety, health, training,
environmental or preparedness responsibilities.
Owners, supervisors, safety committee members,

Continuing Educations Credits (CEU’s) Information
CEUs for CSPs have been applied for through the
American Society of Safety Engineers. The conference
qualifies for CM points for CIHs. The approval process
for CM points has been replaced by ABIH (see conference
website and ABIH websites for info). To obtain CEUs you
MUST sign in at each session per ASSE requirements and
complete the request form at the conference.

Keynote Speaker
National Safety Council
David D. Teater leads the NSC’s advocacy initiatives to reduce deaths and injuries
associated with teen driving and distracted driving. Mr. Teater’s 30 year business career
has included serving as CEO of several private companies including 20 years at an
automotive supplier that provided research and strategy consulting services to most auto
manufacturers. In April 2009 Teater joined the NSC after its call for a nationwide ban on cell
phone driving. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of Distracted Driving and has been
featured in many national publications and news broadcasts. Teater has appeared before
several state legislatures advocating for restrictions on cell phone use while driving and has
testified before the US Congress.

The written exam will be immediately after the Tuesday class at 4:30 PM. The 20 minute practical will be scheduled over the next two days of the conference, a sign up sheet will be
