it comes to maximizing productivity in urban environments, the
Kenworth K270 and K370 are – very simply – the best you can do.
Inside, the quiet, fully-trimmed interior is wider and taller than most
medium-duty cabs and features comfortable seating for a three-person
crew plus abundant storage overhead, on the doors, under the passenger
seats and on the back wall. The superior fit and finish is pure Kenworth.
Both models offer exceptional visibility. An expansive 2,500 square
inch wraparound windshield combines with extra large side windows,
heated and powered breakaway mirrors and a state-of-the-art
forward lighting system to deliver an unprecedented, wide-open field
of vision.
In addition, these stylish cabovers have a 63.4-inch
BBC dimension enabling a 55-degree wheel cut and
an extremely tight turning circle. The result is easier,
more confident maneuverability in tricky and congested
situations.
High, wide and handsome, the K-Series cab is uptown all the way – offering
comfortable seating for three, a fully-trimmed interior, and storage galore.
Standard features include Kenworth’s SmartWheel with adjustable steering
column, power heated mirrors and windows, cruise control, AM/FM/CD radio,
cup holder, coat hooks and very efficient HVAC.
Daily maintenance checks can be fast and efficient. The front panel
opens for instant access to the air filter restriction gauge, coolant, washer
fluid, refrigerant and engine oil dipstick.
No matter which model you select, you start with a versatile, rugged and
reliable chassis engineered by Kenworth to go the distance. Custom built
from the ground up for your application, you can select from
components by proven North American manufacturers.

The Kenworth K270 Class 6 and K370 Class 7 vehicles are ideal
for pickup and delivery, towing, refrigerated van, roll-off and
landscape applications.
The interior measures 82.5 inches wide with enough
headroom to make even the tallest crew member feel
welcome. Seating includes Kenworth’s fully adjustable
air cushion driver’s seat and spacious two-person
bench with lockable storage under the seat.
The cockpit-shaped dashboard presents gauges and switches – including those
for body options – in a logical layout that is easy to view and reach. An innovative
master display module consolidates critical information including speed, engine
RPM, oil level, fuel consumption, trip data, fault codes, outside air temperature,
turbo pressure, PTO counter and service inspections. There is even an alarm clock.
Kenworth has made it as hassle-free as possible for drivers to perform
daily maintenance. Open the front access panel and – with feet firmly
on the ground – you can check the levels and fill engine oil, coolant and
washer fluid. You can also inspect and service air filters and the HVAC.
Standard equipment includes the proven, reliable and fuel efficient
PACCAR PX-6 engine paired with an Allison 5-speed automatic
transmission. You get plenty of power, acceleration and torque in a
configuration that is effortless to drive.
A sweeping 2,500 sq in windshield combines with extra deep side windows,
power-adjust heated mirrors, complex reflector Halogen headlights and fog
lights to provide the driver with outstanding forward visibility day or night.
The K-Series features a light weight – starting at only 9200 pounds – yet
extremely durable North American-supplied chassis, pushing your payload
potential to the max. Constructed of 120,000 PSI-rated steel, the frame
provides a 34-inch rail spacing – ideal for North American Body Builders.
A hydraulic assist cab tilt of 55 degrees provides for quick,
easy and unfettered access to the engine and transmission.
A 63.4-inch BBC and a 55 degree wheel cut make the K-Series nimble
and quick. 19.5-inch wheels and tires are standard; a 22.5-inch
option is available for customers requiring a taller dock height.
PX-6 Specifications
The K270 and K370 come standard with the PACCAR PX-6
engine rated up to 250 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. A
proven workhorse, the PACCAR PX-6 produces the highest
horsepower to weight ratio of any engine in the industry.
