Kelly is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on sociology. Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys time spent with his wife Taylor and their two daughters. He and his wife are in the final stages of growing their family through the adoption of their two sons from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is an admitted movie buff and also enjoys his volunteer work in the student ministry at his local church and traveling.
