SJRYC Historian Search!
Susan Greco, Board Secretary
Love the SJRYC and history? If you’ve read the
Club’s book, White Caps, Swim Caps, and Night
Caps you already know that the SJRYC has a
rich history dating back to 1913! Some of the
information in the book came from
archives stored at the Club. As you might
suspect, the documents that date back that far
are fragile and in need of preservation. The
Board would like to recruit a member or
members who would be willing to organize,
digitize and preserve the existing documents
and then setup a plan to capture future events.
While the goal is to preserve the original
documents, getting them digitized would
allow the documents to be available on the
Club’s website for everyone to enjoy. If you are
interested in this project, please send an email
to me at [email protected].
