Hello!
What is Project Challenge you may ask? It is a
St. Cloud Area School District 742 Community
Education Adults with Disabilities program that
enhances the lives of adults with physical and
developmental cognitive disabilities by providing
a variety of educational and recreational
opportunities through collaborations,
partnerships and connections with community
resources. As a result, participants will be more
informed, healthier, more social and more
involved in their community.

We offer many age appropriate opportunities for the individuals who
take our classes. Project Challenge offers a variety of life skills learning
opportunities such as super supper cooking classes where participants
make an entire meal and sit with friends, family style, to eat the meal.
After the meal, they follow through with the clean up and dish washing as
you would at home. There are a variety of classes that offer participants
opportunities for individuals to meet and socialize with friends such as
dances and parties. We also welcome volunteers and seek instructors to
teach our classes. For more information visit the District 742 website at www.
isd742.org.

Odd Even Bowling
John Johnson
This form of bowling takes the
competition out of the game. When
participants play Odd Even Bowling,
they can win without a high score.
Before the game begins, participants
pick a card from a deck of playing
cards. If the card is an even number
participants will want their ending
bowling score to also be even. It doesn’t
matter if their score is 20 or 120, just that
it is an even number. If their score
matches their card, they are eligible to
spin the wheel for a possibility of winning
a prize. Tuition includes two games of
bowling, shoe rental and prizes.
