Untitled - Paxton Superchargers
“the Paxton supercharger,
one of the 20 SPEEd parts THAT
» The 1960s marked the high point of the customizing culture, and George Barris
was the King of Customs with more than 45 creations during this decade. The
“Surf Woody” shown on the cover of the April 1965 issue of Hot Rod magazine
was shot on the beach at Waikiki,
Hawaii. This twin-Paxton supercharged creation ranks alongside
Barris’ Buick Villa Riviera as one
of the most famous customs of
the ‘60s. Ansen Automotive in
Los Angeles, California built the
twice-blown 289-cubic-inch
Mustang V8. A Ford Cruise-OMatic transmission was used to
deliver power to the rear axle.
» Studebaker started a lasting relationship with McCullochPaxton in 1957, installing the VS57 on the Golden Hawk’s and
Packard Clipper’s 289-cu.in. V8. The SN-type supercharger
was later supplied for the famed Studebaker Avanti and
Lark R-variant engines. Karl and Lydia Sparks of Modesto,
California are the very proud owners of this 1963 Studebaker Avanti featuring twin-Paxton superchargers that push
the dual four-barrel blow-through 306-ci.in. V8 to 504HP
@ 6100 RPM. His Twincharger is one of the three Avantis
known to be built with this unique induction configuration.
Innovator Robert Paxton McCulloch in
1937 introduced his original centrifugal
supercharger, a giant pancake-looking
device that mounted directly to the intake manifold of Ford flat head engines.
His first reciprocating ball design was
developed as an air pump in 1943 for
the U.S. Navy to circulate air inside
America’s submarines during World
War II and later in nuclear submarines.
McCulloch never dropped the concept
of an inexpensive, bolt-on aftermarket
supercharger for the general public.
Extensive research was carried out by
Paxton Engineering and in the early ’50s
became known as Paxton Products.
The first of these compressors was the
VS57/VR57 belt-driven blow-through
design that ultimately became an option
for Kaiser Manhattans, Studebaker
Golden Hawks, Ford Thunderbirds,
Fairlanes and Edsels. Paxton engineers
also developed superchargers used on
the famed Novi Indy race cars. These
engines developed some 650 horsepower from 180 cubic inches and simply
overpowered everything on the straightaways, but the cars were not exactly
agile in the turns. The first OEM contract
for McCulloch was with Kaiser in 1954.
As many as 5,440 superchargers were
fitted to Kaiser engines before the
company stopped making automobiles
in 1955.
Benson Ford, grandson of Henry
Ford, was quite active in the Ford dealer
network in a position he enjoyed in the
family business. It is rumored that as a
result of the time he spent behind the
wheel of a blown Thunderbird he was
a major factor in an exclusive one-year
contract awarded to Paxton Products
in 1956 for ‘57 production automobiles.
With the onset of the Big Three’s “win
on Sunday, sell on Monday” mentality,
NASCAR stock car racing was an activity
Ford was very much interested in. After
the 1957 homologation requirement was
met, about 211 Thunderbird “Blower
Birds” were produced with Paxton, and
a number of other Ford model cars
were fitted with compressors, including the Fairlane. These 312-cu.in.V8
“F-code” engines produced power in
the 340-360HP range, depending on the
camshaft installed. However, Ford conservatively claimed only 300HP. These
factory-supercharged Fords dominated
motorsports in early 1957, until NASCAR
issued a ban on supercharging and fuel
injection mid-way through the year. Ford
dealers also retailed the VS57 supercharger system as a dealer-installed
“power pack” option. A few dual quad
and triple deuce configurations, as well
as the conventional four-barrel carburetor set-up, were known to be done.
Aftermarket kits were also offered
during that period for such vehicles

» With its unique shaped carburetor enclosure
with understated lettering of COBRA, the Paxton
supercharger option was available through Shelby
American and installed on the 289-cu.in. V8 1966-68
GT-350 Shelby Mustang. With the actual
number of cars produced at around

Through a couple of ownership
changes, development work
continued in the ‘60s, Paxton was
again vaulted into the automotive
limelight when Carroll Shelby
teamed up with the company,
first on a blown 1965 289 Shelby
Mustang and later on a twinsupercharged 427 Cobra. Carroll personally sold the Cobra to
comedian Bill Cosby, but it was
never made a production item
(see Barrett-Jackson, page 4). The
Paxton supercharger option was
produced in limited quantities for
the Shelby GT-350 Mustang, from
1966 to 1968. This set-up was also
available as an over-the counter
dealer installed option on stan-
dard small-block V8 Mustangs
from 1965-‘72. Shelby and Paxton
created another unique prototype
in early 1967. This GT500 coupe,
known as “Little Red”, inspired
Ford to build the highly collectible
1968 California Special Mustang.
Little Red featured a Paxton blown
428 Shelby-built powerplant that
was said to “chirp the tires at 80
MPH” with its estimated 500HP+.
In the early-to-mid ‘80s, as OE
performance began to return,
Paxton became the first aftermarket supercharger manufacturer
to release a 50-state legal 5.0L
Mustang street system using an
updated version of the SN-60 reciprocating ball-drive unit known
as the SN-89. That formula caught
on quickly, ushering in a new era
of centrifugal supercharging.

» $5.5 Million…SOLD!
This 1966 Shelby Cobra Super Snake 427-cu.in. 800HP
twin supercharged V8 was originally configured as a
competition car, and then retrofitted by Shelby American
as a street vehicle. It was one of two dual blown Cobras
built; the other was built for entertainer Bill Cosby. It
was used by Shelby, and probably because of that fact,
the bidding reached the record high of $5 million plus
commission of 10%, final price $5.5 million at BarrettJackson, Scottsdale, Arizona 1/18/07.

» PAXTON SELECTED BY SALEEN
Paxton was selected as the power adder for the new line of Saleen
Mustangs that debuted in 1984. Number 85-0021, owned by Stuart Akers of
Indianapolis, Indiana, is the first Paxton supercharged Saleen Mustang. This
‘85 Saleen was purchased from Nault Ford in Manchester, New Hampshire.
It was then sent to Paxton for three months for development of this system,
which was later offered to the public. It then took five years for the blower
option to become an official (sanctioned) factory addition. In 1992, when the
company began promoting the availability of superchargers, 10 of the 17
Saleens built went out the door with the $3200 Paxton option-more than half
of the year’s production-but still rare by most standards.
» FIRST IN THE 9s
Fresh off successfully campaigning his NOVI-1200 ‘88 Fox-body Mustang in
the Real Street Class in the NMRA Series (a best of 9.70 @ 141 MPH), Robin
“Uncle Robin” Lawrence switched to a new 2005 Mustang GT with significant
results. His 680HP NOVI-1200 blown GT became the first ’05 Mustang in
the “nines” with a quickest time of 9.74 @ 138 MPH while competing in Real
Street. Then, in 2006, Lawrence captured the Real Street title in NMRA with
the same Paxton NOVI supercharged GT.

» SHELBY’S CHOICE
Named after a ghost town at the
southern edge of a Texas ranch that
Carroll Shelby bought in the ‘60s,
this Terlingua edition V6 Mustang is
like no other. Puffing on the stock
Ford 4.0L pushrod, the special
Shelby-branded, high-output system
uses a NOVI-1200 compressor with
air/water charge cooler and develops
nearly 375HP. These new Terlingua
Mustangs have been designed to
appear very close to those Trans-Am
race cars from the late ‘60s. These
Performance Packages are available
for the current V6 Mustang through
Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas,
Nevada.
» Exclusive Paxton/Shelby highoutput charge cooled systems
are available through Shelby
Performance Parts and the Shelby
Mod Shop network as an option
with the new Shelby GT Mustang.
These bolt-on configurations boost
the power of the 4.6L V8 to 462
horsepower with excellent power
delivery and seamless drivability.
» LAW ENFORCEMENT SPECIAL
Dan Pina, an industrial designer from Chicago, Illinois, proved the durability
of the new line of NOVI SL compressors with the internal lubrication feature.
His NOVI-1200SL blown “Boss 347” 1987 Ford Mustang not only produces
461HP to the wheels at 8 PSI, the Drift Patrol Fox-body has consistently
finished among the top cars during the last two seasons in the highly
demanding Formula Drift Series. So well that Pina will add an identical car
also boosted with a 1200SL unit for his 2009 campaign.

» THE TEAM’S PREFERENCE
The Mopar/BF Goodrich-sponsored NuFormz Racing Team felt that to be
competitive in Formula Drift a power adder needed to sourced. Paxton
began their Team association with the addition of a NOVI-1500 to a Mopar
392-cu.in. V8 under the hood of their Dodge Charger driven by Samual “The
Crazy Swede” Hubinette. When a couple of Dodge Vipers were added for the
campaign, both were supercharged with the potent NOVI-2000 air/water
charge cooled system that pegged the dyno at 738 rear wheel horsepower.
This combination proved successful with Hubinette piloting the NuFormz
Viper to a 2nd overall finish in the 2008 Formula Drift competition.
» ONE WICKED SNAKE
Jim Herndon’s ’57 Bel Air, “Black Mamba” built by Karl Petersen, features a
650HP NOVI-2000 blown 2002 Dodge Viper V10 stuffed under the dashboard.
Not a stripped-out drag racing skeleton, this ultimate 6-speed street ride
features a retrofitted Viper dash, full leather interior, Recaro power buckets
and C4 Corvette suspension with Air Ride Technologies products featured.
According to Herndon, “No loss of traction at launch…scary fast” And, as a
result of Jim and Karl’s hard work, this black beauty was one of the Top 10
Muscle Cars of SEMA 2007, as named by MSN Autos.
» NUMBER ONE VIPER
You would think with the Paxton NOVI-2000 Gen 3 Viper system increasing
estimated flywheel power to 700HP that should be enough to get anyone
around the block. But it’s not enough for Howard Segal. With 940HP at
the wheels, be careful with this Viper if you ever roll-up next to Segal at a
stoplight in the West LA area. And, this power level was achieved without
the aid of nitrous. As a testament to the expert work of Viper specialist DC
Performance, Los Angeles, California, Segal’s Viper became the world’s
quickest NHRA Certified SRT Viper with a 9.48 @ 147.85 during the 2008
Mopars at The Strip event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

» 650HP TIME MACHINE
Mike Staveski of Time Machines, Hudson, Florida acquired a ‘70 Plymouth Barracuda convertible in 1999 and upon driving a GTS Viper
felt that this ’Cuda could be turned into something special. He wanted to combine the timeless styling of a 1970 Barracuda with all of
the modern technology that an ACR Dodge Viper had to offer. From the blend of the ‘70 Cuda and components from a 1998 ACR Viper, the
“Six Shooter” took form as the latest T-Machine from Staveski. With its V10 power reaching 650HP, from the addition of a NOVI-2000 air/
water charge cooled system, this yellow Barracuda became an overnight show-stopper during its tour.
» MAKING DRIFT HISTORY
When Team Falken Tires decided to boost their Formula
Drift Mustang GT it was with a NOVI- 2000 compressor.
The 700HP 4.6L V8 GT driven by Vaughn Gittin Jr.
out-drifted more than 70 drivers to become the first
American (and American car) to ever win in a D1GP
drifting event, a series that originated in Japan, the
birthplace of drifting. Vaughn entered his first drift event
in 2003. He’s a quick study who loves throwing a 3000 lb.
GT into a hard slide at 90 miles-per-hour.
» COOL FISH
After a two-and-a-half year wait (during the build), those who attended the
Good Guys and other car shows in the Midwest were finally treated to viewing
Glen and Ange Baugus’s incredibly potent 1972 Plymouth Barracuda. With
its twin NOVI-1200 supercharged 6.1L Dodge Hemi V8 neatly tucked away,
this Plymouth is quite a contrast to those Paxton dual-blown Avantis and
Shelby Cobras of the past. And, with careful attention to detail from builder
Ron Owens, Ron’s Motorworks, Bernie, Missouri, this is one ’Cuda that ranks
among the nicest ever built, let alone the fact it’s be able to really scoot with
nearly 700 horsepower under the hood.

novi superchargers
When you are looking for the ultimate in high
performance and reliability from a centrifugal
supercharger, look no further than Paxton
Automotive’s NOVI line. NOVI superchargers are
based on Paxton Automotive’s race-proven gear
case, which features billet steel, helical-cut gears*,
and aerospace-quality high-speed bearings.
A direct-to-gear, constant circulation, oiling
system provides optimum lubrication and cooling,
even under sustained boost conditions. Some
of the fastest race cars in the world use Paxton
Automotive NOVI superchargers–a testament to
the NOVI’s unsurpassed performance in the most
demanding situations.
The NOVI-1200, 1220 and 1500 were designed for
the enthusiast who wants a powerful centrifugal
unit (capable of supporting as much as 825HP
@ 26 PSIG) in a compact size compared to the
NOVI-2000.
“There are few superchargers
flexible enough to boost a stock
5.0 engine or an 800-horsepower stroker like the engine in
KJ Jones’ T-Top coupe project,”
said Steve Turner, Editor of 5.0
Mustang & Super Fords (referring to the NOVI-2000) in the
January 2008 issue. “Better yet,
KJ’s car made over 800 horsepower quietly and efficiently–
with no cog belt or intercooler!”
The original NOVI-2000 is the centrifugal supercharger that revolutionized the
performance industry in 1995, and remains a very popular supercharger today. The
NOVI’s unique impeller design and compact scroll housing provide the capability
of producing 26 PSIG of boost and supporting up to 970 horsepower. We also offer
a Counter Clockwise Rotation (CCW) unit that mounts “backwards” with the intake
facing forward. This allows the supercharger to be driven by the accessory drive belt,
eliminating the need for a separate drive system.
The NOVI-2000 Series featured the debut of helical cut gears (as opposed to straight
cut) in a centrifugal design allowing for quiet operation. While most street NOVI-2000
systems are designed to deliver 8-10 lbs. of boost, the best feature about this unit is its
versatility. It can be installed on a relatively stock engine, then used to increase power
with only slight modifications. No need to purchase a new compressor when you want to
step up your car’s performance... just change pulleys.

Supercharger Systems
Each Paxton supercharging system is designed, tested, and sold to
be installed on vehicles in their original or otherwise stock form. We
provide the best performance while maintaining a margin of safety
that anticipates most driving conditions that the customer may encounter. We certainly could tune more aggressively to add a few extra
horsepower, however, we feel that engine reliability/durability would
suffer in the long run. Systems are calibrated using California 91
octane pump gas.

Systems are designed for easy installation by most car/truck/
SUV enthusiasts or automotive technicians. We include every
component necessary to modify the appropriate factory components, from fuel and ignition management to air intake. Additionally, Paxton maintains a tech line with trained personnel ready to
assist and advise those who want to push the limits or need help
for competition efforts.
50-State Emission Legal
Most Paxton systems are emissions legal in all 50 states or have
the California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) certification in
process. Current Executive Order number awarded is D-195-23.
Durability/Driveability
The centrifugal supercharger system characteristics of progressive and linear power addition (over the naturally aspirated
engine) allow for peak power targets to be achieved without overwhelming drivetrain components such as transmissions, driveshafts, clutches and rear axle assemblies. This performance
curve, directly proportional to engine rpm, allows a centrifugal
system to exceed the peak power potential of other boosting options with excellent driveability, performance and less impact on
fuel economy.
Modified Vehicles
Our systems are developed using a stock vehicle. Only minor
modifications such as a cat-back exhaust system will be compatible with our product. Custom programming (not included) will be
required on modified vehicles with aftermarket exhaust headers,
computer chip, throttle body, or mass air flow sensor. With aftermarket tires and wheels, changing the overall diameter of the
drive wheels more then an inch may require custom programming.
High-Altitude Operation
As a result of the change in atmospheric pressure with an
increase in altitude, a drop in boost pressure is common when
operating in such cities as Denver, Colorado. You’ll experience a
1 1/2 to 2 PSIG drop in pressure at an elevation of 5000 feet above
sea level.

» 1985 mustang 5.0L V8
As a tribute to the Paxton supercharged Shelby GT-350s of the ‘60s, we offer current systems for
V8 powered carbureted Ford Mustangs designed to fit under the stock hood. With a horsepower
increase ranging from 30% to more than 75% (depending on engine build), the new gear-driven,
nearly silent NOVI-1200 or NOVI-1500 supercharger will provide street superiority.
The NOVI supercharger uses a 3.7”
8-rib supercharger pulley, which
produces approximately 7-1/2 PSI @
5500 rpm on a stock V8 engine.
Two configurations are available: Passenger’s side mount, which allows the use of factory power
steering and, the more traditional driver’s side mount that requires an alternator be included
in place of a generator where applicable. For 1967-68 and 1969 351W passenger’s side mount
systems, the Paxton battery relocation kit (#8N150-010) will be required.
Also included: the supercharger
drive system with necessary belts
and pulleys (for use in V-belt setup), billet aluminum mounting
plate configuration for alternator
and supercharger drive assembly,
aluminum discharge tube with
Bosch compressor bypass valve, fuel
system upgrade with high-volume
boost-referenced mechanical fuel
pump, fuel filter, fuel lines and highflow air filter.
These systems include: a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure assembly for the use with Holley
#4150 type, Quick Fuel Q-750 BAN or Demon 650 MD 4-BBL carburetor (mechanical secondaries,
.120 needle and seat plus nitrophyll float set). The enclosure pressurizes the float bowls and
throttle shafts for seamless response and correct air/fuel ratio. It features front and rear -8 AN
fuel inlet ports as well as multiple locations for pressure/vacuum connections. Linkage arms,
splined shaft and left/right hand spherical rod ends are included for simple throttle connection
and adjustment. Carburetor studs are supplied and available separately. If the Holley carburetor
is used, an air diffuser (#8M011-001) is recommended.

installation notes
General System
1. Factory stock compression ratio is recommended. If
other than the factory (standard rise) manifold is used
a cowl hood may be necessary.
2. Not compatible with generator equipped vehicles.
3. Throttle linkage compatible with 1964-68 Mustang
only (other vehicles/years will need custom throttle
linkage construction).
4. Carburetor enclosure is compatible with “small “
diameter distributor cap only.
5. Supplied air filter may interfere with some valve
covers.
Driver Side Specific Supercharger Mounting
1. Not compatible with power steering pump mounting.
2. Not compatible with air conditioning.
Passenger Side Specific Supercharger Mounting
1. Requires battery relocation in 1964-68 Mustangs &
1963-65 Falcon/Comet.
2. Supplied alternator spacer works with Ford
alternators only (3” mounting shoulder).
3. Chevy alternator requires custom spacers.
1969 Mustang 351 Windsor V8
Our system is best suited for H-Code cars that have
2-BBL carburation and a 9.5 to 1 compression ratio
(dished top pistons) from the factory. Boost will be limited
on M-Code cars with 10.7 to 1 compression (flat top
pistons).
1985 Mustang 5.0L
This system is designed for factory serpentine accessory
drive. It allows retention of all engine accessories. Call
Paxton prior to placing order to confirm fit and suggested
accessories.
Air Conditioning
Factory air conditioning can be utilized through the use of the optional
A/C assembly package (#4PFX110-080). Applications include 1964-1968
260/289/302 vehicles that utilize the Paxton passenger side mount
configuration. For the 1969 351 Windsor V8 passenger side mount system,
most vehicles incorporate an A/C belt tensioner on the compressor support
plate. In these instances, a water pump pulley (#4PFX016-011) must be
ordered with a proper length A/C drive belt sourced from an auto parts
supplier.
These two configurations utilize the
1965 Mustang (York-style) compressor support, pulley diameters, and
offsets. This allows the retention of
the alternator, power steering and
A/C compressor, however, the smog
pump, if equipped, must be eliminated.
Components include billet water
pump pulley, A/C drive belt, billet
compressor plate plus supercharger
belt tensioner relocation parts.

» Applications include 1967-1976 A-body models
such as Dart, Duster, Demon, Scamp, Valiant and
1967-1969 Plymouth Barracuda with stock 318, 340 or
360 cu.in. Small Block V8s.
The NOVI-1200 supercharger with supplied pulley ratio
will produce 7-8 PSIG boost at 6000 RPM on a lightly
modified 340 cu.in. V8 engine. Horsepower gains (depending on boost levels, engine volumetric efficiency,
etc) will be in the 30-75%+ range.
These systems include: a cast aluminum carburetor
enclosure assembly (for the use with Holley #4150 type,
Quick Fuel Q-750 BAN or Demon 650 MD 4-BBL carburetor, mechanical secondaries, .120 needle and seat plus
nitrophyll float set). The enclosure pressurizes the float
bowls and throttle shafts for seamless response and
correct air/fuel ratio. It features front and rear -8 AN fuel
inlet ports as well as multiple locations for pressure/
vacuum connections. Linkage arms, splined shaft and
left/right hand spherical rod ends are included for simple
throttle connection and adjustment. If the Holley carburetor is used, an air diffuser (#8M011-001) is recommended.

Among the fuel pumps available, the Pro-Flo 500 is an EFI pump that works well as a primary
or secondary in-line pump, producing 40 GPH at over 90 PSI. The continuous duty design
ensures reliability on or off the track for an easy 500 horsepower at 65 PSI. The Pro-Flo 500
uses only half the amperage of other comparable fuel pumps, and is a perfect choice for
imports and domestic cars.

≥ Fuel Control Units
≥ Fuel pressure regulators
Paxton Automotive fuel control units are
a cost-effective way to provide an engine
with additional fuel under boost conditions.
However, not every engine application has
the same fuel curve requirements. That’s
why each unit has a different rate of gain to
suit a variety of applications. These FCUs are
crafted out of billet aluminum and available
in (10:1), (8:1), (7:1), and (6:1) configurations.
In addition, all FCUs feature a stainless
steel piston and diaphragm plate to prevent
corrosion, and include all fittings, mounting
bracket and hardware. Paxton FCUs work on
most Paxton supercharger systems, as well
as competitive kits and turbo systems.
Paxton fuel pressure regulators feature an
adjustment range of approximately 25-80
PSIG. Each unit is machined from 6061 T-6
billet aluminum and has a blue anodized finish. A vacuum/pressure port allows for a 1:1
gain when used in boosted applications.

TERMS & CONDITIONS / WARRANTY
TERMS & CONDITIONS
LIMITED WARRANTY
EXTENT OF WARRANTY
– ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
The duration of any and all implied warranties is limited to the duration
of this express warranty. All incidental and consequential damages are
hereby excluded. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts, or exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to
You. This warranty gives You specific legal rights, and You may have other
rights that vary from state to state.
THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE
DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF AND THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED
HEREIN SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
REMEDIES
Your sole remedy for the above warranties is the repair or replacement
of the defective product, at Paxton’s sole discretion.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURES
If a Paxton product is within the warranty period and You wish to
make a claim, please follow the following procedure:
1. Call Paxton at (805) 487-3796, ask for the Product Support Department and have the following information available:
• Serial number of the supercharger (if applicable).
• Copy of original invoice on which the product was purchased
(must be dated and show retail store name).
• Year, make, model, vehicle mileage and engine specifications of
the vehicle.
• Number of miles on the Paxton product.
• Description of the problem.
2. Paxton will then offer suggestions to help You in troubleshooting
or will issue a return authorization (R.A.) number to return the
product for warranty evaluation.
3. If You have been issued an R.A. number, You must “safety package”
each product, which means You must plug or seal all oil and air
openings, place the properly plugged and sealed product(s) within
a shipping box strong enough to hold the weight of the product(s)
and to maintain its shape during shipping with adequate packaging material so that the product(s) will not hit other product(s),
component(s), or the side of the box during shipping. You may want
to use a professional shipping company. Clearly mark the R.A.
number in large (approximately 2”) alphanumeric characters in
two locations on the outside of the box with a bold marker.
4. Include in the shipping box the following items:
• Serial number of the supercharger (if applicable).
• Copy of original invoice on which the product was purchased
(must be dated and show retail store name).
• Year, make, model, vehicle mileage and engine specifications of
the vehicle.
• Number of miles on the Paxton product.
• Description of the problem You observed.
• Return authorization number (R.A.).
• Address to which the product is to be shipped after inspection.
5. Issuance of an RA does not mean that the Paxton Product will be covered by one or more of the Paxton limited warranties. If the Paxton
product is not covered by a warranty, then You will be charged, and
You agree to pay, the minimum inspection charge plus any charges
of repair or replacement authorized by You orally or in writing.
6. Ship the properly safety packaged and marked box via United Parcel
Service (800) 742-5877, www.ups.com, or other carrier, prepaid and
insured for the retail value of the product being returned to:

R.A. number
If a Paxton limited warranty applies, Your product will be repaired or replaced at Paxton’s option and returned to You, freight prepaid (excluding
any international taxes, tariffs, customs and/or duties which must be paid
by You), via UPS ground service. If a Paxton limited warranty does not
apply, we will advise You of the reason for denial and explain the costs involved in repair or replacement of the Paxton product. After relaying this
information Paxton will, at Your option, either proceed with the repairs as
quoted or return the Paxton product(s) in the condition it/they are in at the
time of inspection of the warranty evaluation by Paxton. If the warranty
does not apply and You do not want Paxton to repair or replace the Paxton
product, You will still be charged a disassembly and inspection charge for
the product and the product will be returned UPS COD, insured for the
new retail replacement value. This means You must pay any disassembly
and/or inspection charges, return shipping, and insurance charges to UPS
before the Paxton product will be returned. The minimum supercharger
inspection charge is $100. The minimum charge for all other product inspection is $25.
PERFORMANCE CONSUMER’S BILL OF RIGHTS
Most Paxton supercharger systems are designed to meet CARB requirements for classification as 50-state legal. Street legal certification can
be a lengthy process, and systems are sometimes sold by Paxton before
50-state legal classification is granted. Contact Paxton directly to confirm the current classification of Your System. The installation of Paxton
products, except those identified “for racing use only” or that “may not be
legal for use on public roads”, do not void the new vehicle warranty nor
should they cause the vehicle to fail an emissions test. Notify the vehicle
manufacturer if either of these events occurs. If the vehicle manufacturer
fails to honor emission/warranty claims, You may contact the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, call the Federal Trade Commission
(FTC) at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov. Additional information is available
at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) website at www.
sema.org.

EXPAND YOUR WORLD OF MOTORING PLEASURE
If you could have a magic lamp installed on your car, what would you use it for? There would be many occasions
when you would wish your motor was 40 or 50% larger so that it could whisk you safely around a truck on the
highway, carry you easily over snowbound roads and rough side roads, give you extra power for the hills and for
high altitude driving. Think of the confidence that this extra maneuverability and control of your car would give
you in any situation. Think how this could expand you world of motoring pleasure.
Your wish for 40% more engine power can come true at the touch of your accelerator pedal if you have a
McCulloch supercharger on you engine. This amazing automobile accessory gives your car the extra power of a
40% larger engine-in any gear, at any speed. It is not much larger than your automobile generator and weighs
only 24 pounds-not much more than a good, heavy-duty magic lamp.
