Rod Ryan
WEEKDAYS 6:00AM-10:00AM
Each morning, Rod brings his best to the airwaves.
His drive and passion for The Buzz lifestyle ensures that
his listeners never walk away with less than four full
hours of rock solid fun and entertainment.
Sidekicks Dinah, Doug, and producer Jessica provide
ample color commentary, as well as news, traffic and
sports.
When Rod speaks, the audience listens. A Rod Ryan
live endorsement, sponsorship of show segments, and
on-site promotions are powerful tools to move products
and increase sales. He delivers a substantial on-air and
streaming audience each morning.

DINAH
WEEKDAYS 6:00AM-10:00AM
Dinah feels honored to be the newest member of The
Rod Ryan Show
She loves music and knew that she never wanted to
wear a pantsuit to work, so she got into radio. Dinah
grew up in South Carolina, has been living in Tampa and
just moved to Houston.
Dinah loves the beach, concerts and Elvis. She hates the
smell after someone sneezes, close talkers and products
that don’t come with the batteries it needs to operate.
Her top three favorite bands: The Beatles, Radiohead and
Blink 182. Goals in Texas: Buy cowboy
Boots 2.Strike oil…not necessarily in that order.

Theresa
WEEKDAYS 10:00AM-3:00PM
Theresa was born on the 4th of July and says she is
a true Cancer: cranky, passionate and a great friend.
Her favorite music includes Berlin (not the “Top Gun”song).
She adores Chevelle, Weezer, Tool/A Perfect Circle,
Distillers, and Nirvana. She loves 80s punk music and
chick punk. Theresa is a secret 80s Metal fan.
Although she was only 12 when her favorite fashions
were in vogue, she wanted to be old enough in the hairband era so she could dress cheap and sleazy.

Doug Faulk
WEEKDAYS 6:00AM-10:00AM
Doug joined the team as intern for the show. After his
four-month internship to learn the ropes of broadcasting,
Doug refused to leave. He kept showing up and asking
for more work. The Buzz finally hired him as a permanent
fixture on the show.
This self-proclaimed comic book nerd’s favorite bands
range from Pink Floyd to Korn. When he’s not playing
Call of Duty, Snuggie Dougie is dishing out your daily fix
of sports and his Surf Report with cool links to the web.

jessica
WEEKDAYS 6:00AM-10:00AM
She was born and raised in the "Chalmation Nation" right
outside of the great city of New Orleans. She is now a
Houstonian (well, Katy-ite) thanks to that "B" Katrina!
Graduated from Loyola University with a degree in
Broadcast Communications and in Psychology. While in
college she was honored (ahem) to be a Rod Ryan Show
intern, and look at her now...still looking at his bald head
every weekday morning!

Don Jantzen
WEEKDAYS 3:00PM-7:00PM
At an age when most guys are still trying to locate their
older brother’s nudie magazines, Don Jantzen launched
his radio career in small town Kansas. His hunt for the
big leagues brought him to Houston, TX, where he landed
in afternoon drive on The Buzz.
His charm and laid back attitude make him the antithesis
of his counterpart in morning drive.
Don also doubles as Music Director and Program Director
for KTBZ.

WEEKDAYS 7:00PM-12:00PM
The Buzz lifestyle runs thru A.D.’s veins. A talented singer
and music aficionado, A.D. has toured the world (a couple
times). Aside from music, his passions include: pets,
Ms. Pac-Man, and Xtreme sports.
“I follow action sports like other people follow football
and baseball,” noted A.D.
His show is heavy on listener interaction, local music,
and behind the scene looks at breaking music news.
Put this guy to work for your business!

DELIVERING RESULTS
Our customers have a story to tell..
“Over the last year and a half, BullShirts has had the pleasure to work
with 94.5 The Buzz and Clear Channel radio. As one of the area’s
leading screen printing and embroidery companies, we felt that
advertising was not a need, but after several visits with Clear Channel
personnel , we gave it a try and beyond anything that we would have
thought it has benefitted us unbelievably. The power that The Buzz
has to relay your message, as you want it, is priceless! We are glad and
proud to be partners with Clear Channel, The Buzz and all their staff.”
– Jason Stapf, Vice President, Bullshirts Inc.
DELIVERING RESULTS
Our customers have a story to tell..
I have had the privilege for the past twenty years to have been a client,
partner, co-promoter and friend of the Clear Channel Radio Team in the
Houston market. During those past two decades, I have really enjoyed
a terrific relationship with KTBZ, and out of that relationship we
created “BuzzFest,” which has now sold-out an unprecedented twentyfive shows at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. We partnered a
brand new Buzz-branded event this past summer called “Weenie
Roast,” which also sold out The Woodlands Pavilion in the event’s
inaugural year. Simply incredible!”
- Bob Roux, Vice President, Live Nation Entertainment

DELIVERING RESULTS
Our customers have a story to tell..
Mackey & Tanner decided to start advertising on the Buzz in 2010. We
have been successfully advertising on other radio stations since 2007
and decided to try The Buzz to reach new listeners. We were shocked
by the immediate results that we achieved. We paid for the full year’s
advertising budget on The Buzz with extra revenue directly generated
by these ads in the first six weeks of the advertising campaign. We are
very pleased!!
– Jeff Mackey, Partner, Mackey & Tanner, LLC
DELIVERING RESULTS
Our customers have a story to tell..

Mile of meatThe Rod Ryan Show wants to help listeners get a date.
Every year on Valentine’s Day, we line up 25 bachelors on
a stretch of Westheimer Rd. The “cutlets of meat” are carefully
selected then line up on the street holding numbered signs. That’s
when the ladies call in and try to get hooked up with one of our
bachelors! We pair each guy up, and they meet their date that night at
a station party.
