Terms & Conditions
Please note: these T&C’s only apply to those hiring the items only. If you are a
current client of Merci Bouquet, please see your individual contract.
Booking Payment & Terms
• Your quotation is valid for one month only.
• Quoted prices are subject to change based on final selections.
• Your booking is confirmed upon payment of the non-refundable booking fee of $100
(which is credited towards the total amount of the order), together with the
receipt your signed Booking Confirmation.
• Payment can be made my cash, credit card (a 2% credit card fee will be charged) or
direct deposit to account Merci Bouquet P/L BSB:012-290 A/C:9029 80888, using your
surname & ‘Hire’ as your reference.
• The minimum order value is $100 plus installation, delivery & retrieval fees if
required, unless otherwise arranged.
• If the hire date changes, please let us know in writing asap. If we are booked out
on the new date, the hire will be treated as a cancellation as per the T&C’s.
• The balance of the total amount is payable no later than one month prior to your
event date. If the order is sooner than this, full payment is required.
• If payment is not paid in full by one week prior to your event, Merci Bouquet
reserves the right to cancel the order and retain all funds received. If full
payment is not received prior to your event date the hire items will not be
released to you.
• Cancellations within 14 days of the event will incur a 50% charge on of the total
amount.
• After three revisions of the original quote there will be a fee of $25 each time
the quote is altered. This will be payable prior to changes being made.
• Changes CANNOT be made within one month of your event.
Stock Items
• Lost, broken or damaged stock on hire from Merci Bouquet must be paid for by the
client at the retail or replacement cost. Please advise your guests that all hired
items must not be removed from the venue.
• A Security Bond is required for all hire. Current credit card details must be
provided as a security bond for all items on hire. A cash Security Bond may be
provided upon prior arrangement. Merci bouquet reserves the right to charge the
client any replacement costs for items damaged, lost or broken. We will advise of
any costs prior to charging the card.
• The Hirer bears all risk in the goods for the Hire period and is responsible for
the goods safe keeping.
• Goods hired remain the property of the owner, Merci Bouquet.
Installation, Delivery & Collection
• Delivery & Collection is calculated $1 per kilometer, including the return trip,
plus any tolls that may be incurred.
• A surcharge applies if the venue’s policy states that hired stock must be
collected at the completion of the event or outside normal store trading hours.
• Preparation, delivery & collection on a public holiday will attract a surcharge.
• Hire stock must be returned to merci bouquet no later than 2 days after the event,
unless collection by Merci Bouquet has been arranged. Each additional day past the
agreed delivery date will incur a daily hire rate.
• Merci Bouquet’s count and decision as to the condition of goods prior to dispatch
and on return shall be final.
