Velkommen til Plantorama Hillerød
– Nordens største havecenter
Plantorama Hillerød er det nyeste skud på stammen i den 27 år lange historie om den danskejede
detailkæde Plantorama, der i dag tæller otte
centre.
Med sine 10.000 m2 er centret Nordens største
indendørs havecenter og er helt i særklasse efter
dansk målestok.
Historien om Plantorama
Plantorama er et dansk familieforetagende, som
blev grundlagt i 1987 i Egå ved Århus af Søren
Vang Christensen, der er femte generation i rækken af gartnere. Tidligere producerede familien
stueplanter. I dag er det hans søn, Peter Vang
Christensen, der er Plantoramas direktør.
Plantorama betyder ”at skue ud over
tusindvis af planter”
og det er netop, hvad du kan opleve, hvis du besøger Plantorama. Synet af tusindvis af planter og
flotte blomster, som står på rad og række, giver et
overvældende flot indtryk og gør absolut Plantorama et besøg værd. Er der varmt i vejret, åbner
loftet helt automatisk for frisk luft, og når solen
brænder, sørger de solskærmende gardiner, der
bliver trukket for loftsvinduerne, for at sollyset
doseres i de rette mængder.
For at planterne trives, skal de have vand. Derfor,
samt for at skåne miljøet, opsamles der regnvand
i store tanke, og det doseres nøje til planterne.
Planterne placeres på store planteborde, hvor de
har god plads og ubesværet får den mængde lys,
vand og næring, de har behov for.
Home interiør og dyreliv
I centret er der også et stort udvalg af havekrukker, granit, havemøbler, brugskunst, egenproducerede sammenplantninger, buketter og meget
andet.
Desuden rummer centret en stor afdeling med alt
til vand i haven, lige fra flotte fisk til effektive filtre, samt en afdeling med et stort udvalg til kæledyr. Her finder du også faguddannet personale,
der står klar med råd og vejledning.
Oplevelser for alle aldre
Plantorama er et gratis udflugtssted med oplevelser for hele familien. Ofte afholdes der forskellige
gratis events, og børnene er især begejstrede for
at kunne få lov at kigge på de store flotte fisk,
papegøjerne og de herlige kaniner og andre kæledyr i centret. Skønt for alle er det jo også at kunne
stoppe op ved caféen og få en kop kaffe eller
lignende.

Welcome to Plantorama Hillerød
– The largest garden center in Scandinavia
Plantorama Hillerød is part of the Danish retail
chain Plantorama, which comprises eight modern garden centers including the one in Hillerød.
Based on an old indoor plant nursery, the Christensen family established Plantorama in 1987.
Since then, Plantorama has expanded its product
range, and the center now offers anything from
garden plants, indoor plants and fertilizer,
through gift items, garden furniture and ceramics, to garden pond equipment, aquariums and
pet supplies. Plantorama Hillerød also houses a
Baresso Coffee Shop. Here, customers can enjoy a
delicious cup of coffee, a freshly made smoothie
and the like.
Plantorama Hillerød opened in 2012, and with its
10,000 square meters, it is the largest garden
center in Scandinavia. With its location near the
Danish capital, Copenhagen, the center also
offers particularly exclusive products, to cater for
the demanding customer group in this area.

Plantorama and GASA GROUP have managed to establish a
successful and blossoming business model that is of great

and exports for about 2 billions DKK, which enable them to

The IT platforms gather all European productions to the Garten
Centers and are efficiently packed together with the products
of the producing country – respectively. In that way it provides
an optimal logistics flow of fresh plants, and this flow ensures
a fast and reliable supply from all of Europe – in a fixed logistics set-up.
