Mrs. Matson's Class
Alphabet Art
Using colored pencils, the kindergartners drew images representing
the letters of the alphabet. Their pictures were washed with water
colors and artfully arranged in a collage on framed canvas. You will
treasure their charming drawings and the sweet titles they gave each

Ms. Carpenter's Class
Kindness
Ms. Carpenter's Kindergarten class of 2011-2012 has created a
mobile. The class bible verse for the year is Ephesians 4:32, ''Be kind
to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ
forgave you.” The kids drew their vision of kindness on hardwood
maple leaves that dangle from a deodar cedar branch. These leaves
were hand-designed and cut from a 1 in. x 4 in. x 8 ft. hardwood
white maple board. The size is approximately 3 ft. x 3 ft. Sixteen
enthusiastic, creative, kind hearted 5 to 6 year olds share with you
what we all appreciate...a little bit of kindness! Also, a photo book
was created to show the process of the making of this project.

Butterfly Blessing in Copper
Each student in Mrs. Ersek's class stamped a copper butterfly with
dark copper crystals in a unique design they chose. The students
topped the antennae with a Czech fire polished glass bead and
beaded each body with gold Czech beads. Each was placed on an
individual embellished canvas and decorated with a specific letter to
spell (having someplace to go is) HOME, (having someone to love is)
FAMILY, and (having both is a) BLESSING on a larger canvas also
painted in brilliant copper. Student quotes as to what ''home,
''family'', or ''blessing'' means to them and identification of individual
butterflies are detailed separately. The entire canvas measures 30 x
48 in.

Mr. Hollis' Class
Butterflies Through
The Looking Glass
Mr. Hollis's fourth grade class has used their considerable talent to
fashion this wonderful piece of decorative art. Each student created
his or her own unique butterfly entirely of glass. A range of colored
glass was scored, cut, nipped, and stacked by every student. Then,
they assembled their pieces, which were contour fused, two pieces
to a window pane, leaving a very textural design element to their
creations. These panes have been installed into an original 1920s
window that now showcases their artwork, mixing old world
craftsmanship with the students' modern design, ready to hang on
your wall! Measures 40''x 27'' in.

transformed a large colorblock fabric beanbag into a work of art.
Each student spent time creating a unique and personal animal
handprint that was then applied to the beanbag with fabric paints
and markers. Included with the bean bag is a collection of 16 books National Geographic Kids books and other books for your family's
reading pleasure. The books have a self-portrait of each student on
the inside cover.

Tasting for 12
When the State of Washington enacted its Craft Distillery legislation
on July 1, 2008, the concept for Batch 206 was born. This is a VIP
private tour and tasting by Master Distiller Rusty Figgins for 12
people and includes a bottle of either Batch 206 Vodka or Counter
Gin for each guest. Located in the heart of Interbay in Seattle,
producing select small batches: handmade, hand bottled, hand
labeled, and hand packed of vodka, gin and other spirits. Batch 206
Vodka is to be enjoyed simply on the rocks, in a martini garnished
simply, or in traditional mixed cocktails. Counter Gin has juniper
berries as an essential flavor but you can also pick out tarragon,
lavender, verbena, cucumber, and orange peel. This unique gin is a

from Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoon short ''Mickey's Rival''
(1936). This edition is one of a series of selected limited editions of
original artwork from animated Disney classics. Since the original cels
used in the production of cartoon shorts are no longer available, the
Studio has recreated the artwork using special techniques. The
original animation drawing was inked by a Disney artist, and this
inked line was transferred to acetate ''cels'' by a special Xerox
process. The colors are Disney-created acrylic-based paints that were
hand-applied by Disney painters. To protect the delicate paints
permanently, each limited-edition cel in this series has been
laminated on the back with clear plastic. The background scene for
this cel has been faithfully reproduced by a Disney background artist,
using as reference sketches and frames from the film. The final
results has been printed on 100% cotton, neutral pH paper, which
resists fading, yellowing, and brittleness. This cel set-up from
