Once known as the “Little Paris”, Bucharest is a green city with large tree-linen boulevards dominated
by many architectural styles, from classical, baroque and French renaissance to Art Deco and modern
style. Legend says that the founder of the settlement was a shepherd named Bucur.
Visit Parliament House, the second large building of the world after Pentagon. Built by the Communist
Party leader, Nicolae Ceausescu, the colossal Parliament Palace (formerly known as the People's Palace)
is the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. It took 20,000 workers and
700 architects to build. The palace boasts 12 stores, 1,100 rooms, a 328-ft-long lobby and four
underground levels, including an enormous nuclear bunker.

Half day to discover Dracula’s Castle


Meet the English speaking guide at Otopeni Bucharest
airport or at the hotel in Sinaia.
Half day trip to discover Dracula’s story.
Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend and perched
high atop a 200-foot-high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to
its imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth
created around Bram Stocker's Dracula.
Built on the site of a Teutonic Knights stronghold dating
from 1212, the castle was first documented in an act issued
by Louis I of Hungary on November 19, 1377, giving the
Saxons of Kronstadt (Brasov) the privilege to build the Citadel. Although Stoker never visited Transylvania, the
Irish author relied on research and his vivid imagination to create the dark and intimidating stomping ground of
Count Dracula, leading to persistent myths that it was once the home of Vlad Tepes, ruler of Walachia. While
the association with Dracula is sketchy at best, the castle continues to hold a strong attraction for all fans of the
Count.
From 1920 to 1957 Bran served as royal residence, a gift of the people of Brasov to Queen Marie of Romania.
The castle is now a museum open to tourists, displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie.


Follow Prince Charles’ Steps in Transylvania

1st day – Arrival to Otopeni airport. Meet the English speaking
guide. Transfer to the hotel in Bucharest.
Panoramic sightseeing tour of Bucharest - once known as the “Little
Paris” - a green city with large tree-linen boulevards dominated by
many architectural styles, from classical, baroque and French
renaissance to Art Deco and modern style. You will see the Triumphal
Arch, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Church of the Patriarchate, the
University Square, the old town as well as the Parliament Palace - the
2nd largest building in the World after the Pentagon.
Dinner in typical restaurant with folklore show.
The night can continue in the famous clubs and bars in historical center.


2nd day - Breakfast and departure to Sibiel. Stop in Sibiu for walking
tour.
Sibiu (one of the oldest towns in Transylvania - formerly Hermannstadt –
founded by the Saxon colonists). Walking tour in the citadel with the
Towers, the Great Square, the Little Square, The Upper Town, The
Council Tower, The Bridge of Lies.
Lunch in restaurant and departure to Sibiel. Sibiel is a small village where
you’ll became for a short time Romanian. You’ll sleep in a peasant house, you’ll eat and drink only food home
made.

3rd day - Good morning Sibiel. Eco breakfast and visit the Museum of
Icon on Glass and departure to Sighisoara.
Walking tour in the medieval citadel. You’ll be fascinated of the citadel
square, the Clock tower, The citadel towers, the Church on the Hill.
Founded by Transylvanian Saxons during the 12th century, Sighisoara
(Schassburg in German) still stands as one of the most beautiful and bestpreserved medieval towns in Europe. Designated as a World Heritage Site
by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th century gem with nine towers,
cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches rivals the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for
atmospheric magic. It is also the birthplace of Vlad Dracula, also known as Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler), ruler
of the province of Walachia.

4th day - We are in Transylvania and today will go deep in the heart
of the region, in a small villages where Prince Charles discover
simplicity.
We will visit the fortified church of Hogiz and Rupea and will discover
Viscri a small village where if you buy a house you can be the proud
neighbor of the Prince of Wales.
We leave Viscri to explore Brasov.

Bucharest & Danube Delta

1st day:
In the afternoon arrival at Bucharest international airport.
Private transfer by car or minibus with English speaking guide to your hotel in Bucharest – the

2nd day:
After breakfast departure to the Danube Delta. The waters of the Danube, which flow into the
Black Sea, form the largest and best preserved of Europe’s deltas.

3rd day:
Full day trip in Danube Delta to explore a birds sanctuary. The largest wetland in Europe,
witholding one of the widest reed areas in the world, the Danube Delta is dominated by the reed
that forms fixed or floating islands. The water surface is populated by numerous species of plants
with floating leaves: the white and yellow water lily, the European frog-bit, the water chestnut.
Accommodation. Special dinner.

4th day:
After a Delta adventure we return in Bucharest to explore the capital of Romania.
Free lunch. Discover the capital of Romania where you’ll meet new and old, modern and traditional
in one surprising city. Bucharest remains a Garden City, leafy and pleasant, with cafes open on
sidewalks in the summer, and with boats on its lakes and rivers. City tour with the Palace Square,
Athenaeum, The Royal Palace, Revolution Square, Victory Avenue, University Square, Stavropoleos
Church, Manuc’s Inn, The Old Princely Court and Patriarchy Church. Visit the Parliament House –
the second large building in the world after Pentagon.
Walking tour in the old town full of bars, terraces and discotheques.
Farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant.

5th day:
