Instruction-Manual
for the installation of the
Blasterparts-Caliber-Converters-BCC
The Centurion is a beautiful blaster and with its
bipod it is obviously intended to be the new sniper rifle under the dartblasters. The blaster has a
very large cylinder and so like its predecessor, the
Longshot, it bears enormous modding-potential.
Unfortunately, NERF has come up with a new
type of dart for this model, the mega darts. These
darts are much larger than the standard CS- darts
and the material of the dart-body is very soft. For
this reason Blasterparts has designed a modkit
which makes it possible to use the Centurion with
the standard elite darts.
3
The BCC ( Blasterparts Caliber Converter) consists
essentially of two parts: an adapter for the clip-slot
(1) which allows to use normal elite clips and a modified breech (2). With the kit comes an O -ring (3)
which is inserted between cylinder and the barrel of
the kit to ensure optimum sealing.

3
1 - Open the Blaster
The Centurion is easy to open if you have not yet
inserted the supplied barrel-extension to the blaster.
In this case, you just have to unscrew all the screws
and take apart the halves of the case. The lever
should be about 5 cm behind the front stop when
taking apart the two halves (Figure 5.1).
4
5.1
If the barrel extension is already installed the disassembly is much more complicated. This is due to
three catches which prevent the barrel-extension
to be removed again without violence once it is
mounted.
Two of the catches are located on both sides of the
barrel-extension itself and engage laterally in the
barrel-neck of the blaster. Another is the front of the
blaster-case and is also not easily accessible
(Figure 5.2).
5.2
5
Since the barrel-extension is glued together on the
marked points (Figure 6.1), it cannot be opened
without violence either.
6.1
The easiest way to open the blaster with attached
barrel-extension is, after all screws are removed from
the housing, to bent one of the case-halves from the
back of the blaster so the interlocking parts of the
barrel-extension are bent apart (Figure 6.2).
6
6.2
Then the one case-half can easily be removed.
2 - Replacement of breech
If the blaster is open the cylinder must be removed
to replace the breech. The best way is to move the
cylinder forward and then pulling it diagonally out
of its rail. After this
the screw which connects the cylinder to
the retrieval-spring
has to be removed
(Figure 7.1).
7.1
If the cylinder is removed the breech must be replaced. The three screws have to be loosened that
connect the breech to the cylinder (Figure 7.2).
7.2
7
Before mounting the new
breech the supplied O - ring
must be inserted on the
back of breech (Figure 8.2).
Now the breech can be 8.2
mounted onto the cylinder
with three screws
(Figure 8.3).
8.3
Now the cylinder can be built in again. Move the
lever on the jam-door a bit and insert the cylinder
forward with the tip of breech.
8
Make sure that cylinder and breech are not twisted
and all guiding elements run in the designated tracks
(Figure 9.1).
9.1
3 - Assembling the modified Blaster
Finally the case of blaster can be reassembled.
Make sure that the latch is not locked to the rack
(Figure 9.2).
9.2
9
Again the lever should
be about 5cm behind
front stop during assembly. Take care both
clamping levers are at
the same height
(Figure 10.1).
10.1
It should be easy to push the case-halves together
now. If the barrel-extension is installed then you
have to bent the case-halves again as you did
when opening it.
Note: If you noticed a resistance during pushing the
case-halves together some parts may not be in the
correct position inside. Opens the blaster again and
checked everything. Do not try to press the case
halves together by force.
If the blaster is reassembled both case-halves should
be screwed together with 3-4 screws. Then test
functionality of the blaster before finally screwing
together both halves of the case. If something does
not work you must take the housing apart again
and check if all parts are in the correct position.
10
If everything works fine you can put the remaining
screws into the case. Afterwards the adapter for the
elite clips is simply pushed into the clip-slot of the
Centurion. It is locked with the clip-catch and can
be removed by pressing the clip release button.
Now the kit is fully installed and you can use your
Centurion with normal elite darts.

Additional Information
The modification springs offered by Blasterparts are neither official products of nor
affiliated with the original manufacturer / distributer of the named blaster.
Modifying your dartblaster in any way happens at your own risk. We would like to
point out that the offered dartblasters are explicitly not intended for modifications
(e.g. installing a stronger spring) by the manufacturer. Installing one of our modification brings a considerable boost in performance. If you use a modified dartblaster
while playing with other persons, for example in a “nerf war” or a Live Action Role
Playing game, you have to wear a pair of safety goggles. Never aim at the eyes or
face of another person. In addition to installing our modification spring the so called
“air restrictor” can be removed. Due to safety reasons we explicitly advise that you
do not modify the blaster any further technically.
