Y E A R S,
Mannington has created premium flooring products. Building upon broad research
and deep experience, we create true choices that work for acute and long term care
facilities, senior living and medical offices.
Only Mannington has the experience in offering a broad portfolio of products through
one point of contact. This history translates to a reliable infrastructure and deep
accountability all along the lifecycle of your project. From specification to delivery,
from installation to reclamation.
Our resilient sheet, performance broadloom and modular carpet, LVT, VCT, superior
formulation rubber, and through-construction porcelain work together to enhance
beauty, reduce patient anxiety, and serve the staff whose lives are dedicated to
serving others. All with a smaller environmental footprint.

MEANINGFUL USE
We know that healthcare facilities are not “one product fits all” environments. Finding
the right flooring for any space is linked to understanding how that space will be used.
We also know that the needs of healthcare design are always changing, so products
must be re-evaluated on a project-by-project basis.
As manufacturers, we believe this is an opportunity to build trust. So we start with
evidence-based design, trustworthy research and user experience so each product is
made with its use in mind.
But we then go deeper, subjecting each product to rigorous performance testing based
on its potential application – and requiring that our full portfolio of beautiful, durable,
sustainable products work together seamlessly.
Every flooring solution from a single point of contact. Choices that Work.

WORK
No single product category can meet the many needs of healthcare environments.
So instead of taking a one-floor-fits-all approach, we offer a broad product
portfolio from one point of contact, and consult with our customers to help
determine the right product for every space.

Flooring transition strips can create a hazard in healthcare – a breeding ground
for infection and bacterial growth, especially when a contaminating spill goes
underneath a transition and is missed by cleaning and disinfection. Transition
strips also create mobility issues and unnecessary obstacles for patients being
transported on gurneys, for recovering patients with IV towers and for staff
transporting heavy equipment.
So Mannington created Seam + Advantage. Leveraging our years of experience
manufacturing hard and soft surface flooring, we have designed our portfolio of
products – resilient sheet, LVT, and performance broadloom carpet – to be chemically
welded to each other. Creating truly seamless transitions from surface to surface.
Eliminating transition strips through the entire facility. Better for infection control,
better for patient mobility, better for long-term performance.
Lifetime warranty for seam integrity, delamination, edge ravel, zippering, and
wick-back staining.

PERFORMANCE
PRIORITIES
It’s simple. To be up to Mannington’s standards for performance, each flooring
product must deliver maintenance, long-term durability, and specific technologies
designed for the demands of commercial environments. So we design these
priorities into our products, from the ground up.

LOOP®
We have a responsible end-of-life plan for the products we manufacture. Through
our LOOP® reclamation, we take back post-consumer carpet and closed-loop
recycle it back into carpet. Additionally, we have closed-loop recycling processes in
place for our VCT and LVT products and produce the only carpet-to-hard surface
flooring – resilient sheet with 35% recycled content.

Leg fatigue, acoustic distractions and glare are issues encountered every day in the
healthcare environment. Our Choices that Work strategy enables us to work with you,
one on one, to find the right products for the specific needs of each area.
Our carpet and rubber flooring products provide comfort underfoot to reduce fatigue
for doctors and staff who spend long shifts on their feet. Carpet and rubber also prevent
the strain of acoustic distraction in interior spaces. And our patented durable wear layers
come in a wide offering of gloss levels, easily reducing glare based on lighting and
maintenance requirements.
