Mot du président / A Word from the CEO
En 2014, dans un contexte économique fragile, doublé d’une
chute inattendue des cours du pétrole, notre Groupe a su à
nouveau s’adapter. L’évolution significative de notre chiffre
d’affaires en est le témoin.
Nous avons développé nos parts de marché en Europe et en
Afrique, tout en consolidant nos positions auprès de nos clients
historiques.
De nouveaux clients nous ont accordé leur confiance principalement dans les secteurs des énergies renouvelables et de
l’industrie pharmaceutique, et dans de nouveaux pays comme
l’Afrique du Sud.
Avec un degré d’exigence toujours élevé en matière de sécurité, nous avons développé de
nouvelles méthodes en qualité et performance opérationnelle.
C’est grâce au talent et à la détermination de nos équipes que nous avons fait la différence
et que nous continuerons à la faire demain.
Après 43 ans passés au sein du Groupe, je suis fier aujourd’hui de passer les rênes d’une société
solide à Patrick Lacquement, qui m’aura remplacé au poste de Président au 1er janvier 2015.
Je continuerai, pour ma part, à accompagner nos équipes au sein du Conseil de Surveillance.
Vous trouverez dans les pages qui suivent les grandes lignes de notre année 2014. Je vous en
souhaite une bonne lecture.

In 2014, in a fragile economic context doubled with an unexpected fall in the price of
petrol, our Group managed once again to adapt to the situation. This is reflected by
a significant evolution of our turnover.
We developed our market-share in Europe and Africa, while strengthening our position
with our long-term clients.
We gained the trust of new clients in new countries such as South Africa, and also in the
renewable energy and industrial pharmaceutical sectors.
With a high level of requirements in safety, we developed new methods in quality and
operational performance.
Due to the talent and determination of our teams, we made a difference, and will continue to do so in the future.
After having spent 43 years within the Group, today I am proud to pass over the reins of
a solid company to Patrick Lacquement, who will replace me as CEO from the 1st January
2015. I shall continue to support our teams as a member of the Supervisory Board.
The following pages illustrate the main events of 2014, which I hope you will enjoy reading.

Le Groupe développe une activité d’entreprise générale
proposant des projets clé-en-main. Nous accompagnons

Ingénierie, achats et construction The Group has developed its activity in EPC*, proposing
turnkey projects. We accompany our clients through all
the phases of their projects, from conception, production,
design, and procurement to erection, commissioning
and starting-up.
An example of a few exceptional projects in 2014:

the EPR in Flamanville.

En 2014, notre pôle études déjà fort de 250 collaborateurs
s’est doté de compétences complémentaires, portant sur les
études d’électricité générale, l’instrumentation et l’automatisme ainsi que les études de « process », risques industriels
et calculs (hydraulique, flexibilité, RDM*…).
Notre pôle études est en progression constante, l’effectif
ayant doublé sur les cinq dernières années.

In 2014, our design department, consisting of 250 employees, acquired further skills, notably in general
electricity, instrumentation and automatism, as well
as “ process ” design, industrial risks and calculations,
(hydraulic, flexibility, material resistance…).
Our design department is constantly progressing, having
doubled the number of employees in the last 5 years.

En 2014, l’activité internationale du Groupe s’est exercée
dans l’amont pétrolier essentiellement dans le cadre de
travaux de modification d’unités existantes, à terre comme
en mer. Cinq grands projets ont été menés en parallèle
au Nigéria, au Gabon, en Angola et au Congo, en plus
des activités d’entretien et d’amélioration des installations
de nos clients.

In 2014, the Group’s international operations consisted
mainly of upstream activities in modification works of
existing plants, onshore and offshore. 5 large projects
were simultaneously carried out in Nigeria, Gabon,
Angola and the Congo, as well as maintenance and
improvement works in our clients’ plants.

Malgré la contraction du marché, le Groupe, en 2014,
a maintenu son niveau d’activité en raffinage/chimie qui
représente une part significative du chiffre d’affaires réalisé
en Europe dans les 3 grands domaines d’exercice de nos
savoir-faire : maintenance, arrêts programmés et construction.

Sidérurgie / Steel Industry
Dans un paysage sidérurgique européen malmené par la
concurrence internationale, les sites de Fos et Dunkerque sont
les deux derniers gros bastions français. Nous y exerçons
toute la palette de nos compétences et sommes fiers de
contribuer au maintien de ce secteur industriel traditionnel.

international competition, the sites located at Fos and

Le développement de la ressource gaz est en expansion
constante dans le monde. Notre Groupe se trouve impliqué
sur l’ensemble du cycle, depuis la construction en EPC*
d’unités de traitement en sortie de puits d’exploitation jusqu’à
la construction d’unités de compression, de stockage et
réseaux de distribution.
