The games have titles like: Dizzy Hurdles, Gravy Dunk, Slippy Hill, Trouser Dash, Groin Croissant, and Jelly Run. It’s fast moving and exciting with an inherent darkness, but the payoff is always funny. The location is a bizarre landscape of concrete, runways, overgrown knolls and cavernous hangars. The contestants come in all shapes and sizes. Geeks and Goths, tough guys and tomboys, glamour girls and wimps. And to make the whole thing even more absurd, they are all dressed in brightly coloured not-very-superhero costumes, each with its own weird or ridiculous attachment. Each show features seven contestants and six games. Contestants compete against the show, not each other, and have a maximum of 10 attempts at each game. Each contestant has one ‘free’ attempt at the climactic Door Slam end game, but their main objective is to win further attempts at the end game by successfully completing one of the other six games.
