Bars mean money, but they also mean stress if they aren’t
run properly. Everything from the science of the perfect pour

world-renowned bar and nightclub owner Jon Taffer.
Taffer, who stars in the show, has started, flipped or owned over
600 bars and clubs throughout his career, and is now travelling
the country using his expertise – along with his ‘in-your-face’
style of management – to help transform failing bars into
vibrant, profitable establishments.
By delving into every facet of the business, from creating

The show that’s
so hard to beat
In every episode of this hilarious comedy game show,
a number of brave (or mad) contestants pit themselves
against incredibly simple, yet insanely difficult, games.
The games have titles like: Dizzy Hurdles, Gravy Dunk,
Slippy Hill, Trouser Dash, Groin Croissant, and Jelly Run.
It’s fast moving and exciting with an inherent darkness, but
the payoff is always funny.
The location is a bizarre landscape of concrete, runways,
overgrown knolls and cavernous hangars. The contestants
come in all shapes and sizes. Geeks and Goths, tough
guys and tomboys, glamour girls and wimps. And to make
the whole thing even more absurd, they are all dressed in
brightly coloured not-very-superhero costumes, each with
its own weird or ridiculous attachment.
Each show features seven contestants and six games.
Contestants compete against the show, not each other,
and have a maximum of 10 attempts at each game. Each
contestant has one ‘free’ attempt at the climactic Door
Slam end game, but their main objective is to win further
attempts at the end game by successfully completing
one of the other six games. If a contestant successfully
completes the Door Slam they win the prize money –
or split it with anyone else who triumphs at the Door Slam.

The Box is an exciting and unpredictable cookery show in which amateur cooks face
the ultimate culinary challenge – to impress a top professional chef and his celebrity
guest by creating fantastic dishes from previously unseen and totally unexpected
ingredients. The ingredients are selected by the professional chef, carefully chosen
to get the contestants thinking on their feet and ‘out of the box’ in a true test of
culinary invention.
In the first round, the contestants are free to use as many or as few of the items in the
box as they wish, along with any items from a basic, well-stocked kitchen cupboard.
Once the clock stops, the chef tastes the dishes and declares a winner. Coming first
is crucial because the round one winner gets to choose their box in round two.
In the second challenge, the Host selects the ingredients of three new mystery boxes
such as The Basic Box, The Chocolate Box, The Meat Box. The first round winner
chooses which box to keep for themselves, and which box the others will cook with,
strategically trying to stitch up their rivals.
An hour later comes the big reveal. The chef and the celebrity guest taste the dishes,
and the chef decides who is Cook of the Day.

The Great British Benefits Handout is a bold social experiment which investigates
a potentially ground-breaking solution to one of the biggest questions of today –
how do we get people in the UK off benefits?
Three long-term families dependent on benefits are given a cash handout of
£26,000 each, the current maximum yearly benefit cap for most families. In
return, the families must agree to sign off benefits, and see if one large cash sum
can turn their lives around for good.
The experiment asks the families to use the money in a way that can positively
change their circumstances, make them happier and ultimately remove them from
the benefit system. However, there are no strings attached and contributors will
make their own decisions, spend money as they want but with the knowledge that
they’ve given up their lives on benefits, and there’s no more to come.
Will the families be able to grasp this extraordinary opportunity or will the
temptations of a large sum of money in their bank account distract them from their
good intentions of building a business or finding work?

Get ready for
BULLSEYE – the

Each week, four men and four women push their bodies
to the limit in three unique, exciting and often outrageous
challenges that ask nothing more than for them to hit
the bullseye.
In the first challenge, the eight competitors try to come
closest to the center of a stationary or moving target.
They might have to dive off a moving truck into water,
swing out on a crane over a city street 300 feet below
or manoeuvre toward a bullseye while being dragged
behind a hovering helicopter. The two men and two
women who come closest to the center of the bullseye
move on. The other four are sent home.
For the second challenge, the “final four” have to hit as
many bullseyes as possible. The three competitors who
hit the most bullseyes move on; the other goes home.
Finally, the three remaining competitors must tackle one
last challenge that blows the others away and requires
them to hit a target in the fastest time. They might have
to traverse the side of a moving train and leap onto a
bullseye on the front of an engine… or hit a series of
moving targets while performing jumps in a dune buggy.
The competitor who conquers this final challenge by
hitting the bullseye in the fastest time wins a cash prize…

Fourteen guys and girls between the ages
of 18 and 23 will face-off in a series of
challenges that will test their physical and
mental abilities. They must combine their skills
to test speed, endurance, strength, teamwork,
completion, leadership, willpower, generosity
and camaraderie.
Two elite former athletes will serve as
mentors for the contestants and will be their
point of reference and support during the
most difficult times.
The contestants will compete in mixed
couples. During each episode, after a series
of challenges, which the contestants will
discover along the way, one couple will be
eliminated. In the finale, two of them will take
the victory. Their prize will be to make a sport
related dream come true.
All of the challenges take place outdoors.
Nature in its pure state is the protagonist
stage for all of the challenges. Lakes,
forests, valleys and mountains are the
elements that make up the extreme

Cooks on Wheels (Cocineros al Volante) is a cooking talent show in
which a convoy of food trucks travel all over Spain using the finest
local ingredients to showcase regional cooking. Each food truck team
has to produce one mouth-watering dish after another, all cooked
up against the clock in the cramped and difficult conditions of their
mobile kitchen. Whenever and wherever Cooks on Wheels turns up,
it’s an event!
In each episode, seven competing pairs of expert food truckers face a
series of culinary challenges with one single objective – to keep their
place in the convoy and qualify for the final episode where one team
wins the title of the Best Food Truck in the country.
The presenter and two prestigious chefs judge each delectable
dish, and decide who stays on the convoy and who has to take the
road to nowhere.
It is a chance to show Spain at its best, while discovering and tasting

Last year the RSPCA collected and rescued 245,590 animals but
only 55,000 were re-homed – that’s just over 22%.
In 2015, with the help of a cast of animal crazy celebrities, we are on
a mission to find more homes for more animals than ever.
With the full backing of the RSPCA and the staff at Newbrook Farm
Animal Centre, we are going to train our cast of celebrities to care
for and foster a wide range of homeless animals. From stray dogs to
injured donkeys, four legs or two legs, feathered or furry, our animal
sanctuary takes in, rescues and rehabilitates all creatures great and
small and most importantly, offers viewers the chance to give them a
new home.
In a TV first, viewers will be able to take a look at the animals available
for adoption via the show’s website or mobile app. Our celebrity
volunteers will make bespoke appeal VTs showcasing their new
friends and explaining just why Pedro the Pony or Harry the Husky
would make the perfect pet for you. Viewers who register their interest
(and pass the RSPCA’s vetting procedure) could find themselves
face-to-face with Pedro or Harry on next week’s show.
The audience can follow the real-time rehoming process of the
sanctuary’s residents. As in real life, the sanctuary will need to vet
the prospective owners, so we send our celebrities out to recce the
families’ homes and help make that all important decision on who gets
to adopt Pamela the parrot or Wilbur the three legged daschund.

My Kitchen Rules travels a country with the aim of finding
the best home-cooking team. In Australia, the teams
of two do battle from their own kitchens in each state
of Australia. The aspiring chefs have to impress judges
with unique culinary tricks and use local ingredients in
their dishes. The contestants also have to transform their
home into an instant restaurant for one pressure-cooker
night, working against the clock to deliver a winning
dining experience.
Over the years, the show has gone through some format
changes. For example, in 2011 it was introduced that
after the instant-restaurant challenge, the remaining teams
must compete in a further four-round format.
This involves a “People’s Choice Challenge”, a “Rapid
Cook-off”, a “Showdown” between the worst dishes from
the “Rapid Cook-off” and “Sudden Death”, in which the
two losing teams from the “People’s Choice Challenge”
and “Showdown” battle it out, until only one team remains
to be crowned the winner.

The quiz show that puts
obscure knowledge
to the test
Pointless, where the person with the lowest score is the
biggest winner.
To stay in the game contestants must score as few points
as possible. How do they do this? They must come up
with the most obscure answers they can muster. On
Pointless, the questions asked have several possible
answers, from the most obvious to the most obscure.
Contestants that answer with the most obvious choice
receive a higher score and that could spell defeat.
For example, how many Charles Dickens novels can you
name? If 63 of those surveyed said the very well-known
Oliver Twist, contestants who answer the same earn the
high score of 63. However, if only 15 of those surveyed
answer The Old Curiosity Shop, a lesser known novel,
that contestant gets a respectable score of 15.

The house with the highest combined
score is safe, and the couple with
the lowest score on the losing house
is eliminated.
Two house teams made up of 4
couples each must renovate an entire
house each. They must follow the
design brief handed down from the
homeowners and work to key design
items left for them in the homes.
The winning couple gets AUD
$100,000, $50,000 for them
and $50,000 for their charity, and
the runner up team gets $50,000,
$25,000 for them and $25,000
for charity.
They must first deliver a room within
48 hours. The couple with the highest
score will win immunity. Then their
second rooms are delivered 72 hours
later and these room scores make up
a total score per house.

So You Think You Can Dance, now in its thirteenth season on the
Fox Network, is a televised dance competition show created by
Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and produced in the United States

The show seeks dancers through open auditions held in major
US cities. Dancers who impress the judges and producers with
their solos are sent through to the call-back round with the judges
ultimately select the “finalists”, typically the top twenty dancers, to
