GYSTC Presentation - Faculty Web Pages
Top 5 Key Insights
1. Greater than 80% of companies design and sell
products/services; 60% use formal product
development process.
2. We are in “Desktop” prototyping era that enables
rapid and complete prototype of portable products.
3. Students are savvy and large demographic end-users
of consumer electronics and products. Their
creativity and innovative minds are untapped.
4. IoT and Nanotechnologies pose abundant
opportunities for new product ideas.
5. KSU New product development and innovations
center can fulfil needs of industry, college, faculty,
and students.
