DRAWING LIST: Cover - General Notes SP-1 - Site Plan CD-1 - Details CD-2 - Details GENERAL NOTES: 1. Perform PA One-Call prior to any digging. 2. Contractor shall obtain and pay for any necessary permits from the Authorities Having Juristiction prior to any construction activities. 3. Verify layout with Landscape Architect prior to any construction and adjust as required. 4. Repair and/or replace bituminous, concrete, lawn, and/or landscape beds damaged or removed due to construction operations, including adjacent roads, sites and parking lots. 5. Determine that the location of underground utilities or features to remain do not interfere with proposed improvements. Contact Landscape Architect for alternate locations if required. 6. Construction notes and typicals may appear only once on drawings, but apply to all similar conditions where new construction occurs to fulfill the intent of the drawings. 7. All questions during the bidding phase should be directed to the Landscape Architect. 8. Site plans and other related plan information was not prepared from a physical and/or topographic survey and should be used only as a reference to fulfill the design intent include herein. Verification of all site conditions are the responsibilty of the site contractor. 9. Perform on-site review to verify existing site conditions. Confirm locations of on-site utilities prior to start of work. 10. Remove existing features as required to accommodate new construction. 11. Repair and replace maintained site feature damaged during construction to the pre-construction condition. 12. Adhere to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Erosion and Sedimentation Control Standards for all erosion control measures. All erosion and sedimentation permits and controls are the responsibility of the contractor. 13. Disposal of any surplus excavated materials are the responsibility of the contractor to remove, haul, and dispose of properly. 14. All subsurface conditions are to be considered unclassified. Any necessary rock removal and associated costs are the responsibility of the contractor. Blasting is strickly prohibited.
