pathways, small roads with summer cottages
idyllically bathing in the sun and beach views of
the small islands the region is known for. Breath in
the salty sea air and enjoy the scenery while the
guide takes you through history and nature.
Verdens Ende – «The worlds end»
This is where the ocean meets the island rocks
and you experience natures force in a new way.
Watch the fishermen unload the catch of the day,
feel the warm summer breeze, or take a stroll up
to the old, unique lighthouse – this is a place you
need to experience.
Your experience
You’ll experience the unique nature of Tjøme’s
coastline. We’ll stop at «The Italian Gate»,
Moutmarka and Verdens Ende in Færder National
park. And if you wish, we’ll find a picknick spot
with a view you’ll remember.
The bike route
Bike ride from Havna Hotel to Verdens Ende
2-3 hours. Approximately 3-4 kilometers each way.
Bike ride from Tjøme city center to Verdens Ende.
2-3 hours. Approximately 6 kilometers each way.
Bike ride from Engø Gård Hotel to Verdens Ende.
2-3 hours. Approximately 9 kilometers each way.
All routes are quite flat and easy terrain. The mild climate of
Tjøme makes the bike ride manageable almost year round.
