SHOW STICK: A tool used to assist with feet and
placement and help calm your calf. The length of the
stick should be relative to the size of the calf being
shown. The exhibitor should be able to stand at the
calf’s head and while keeping calf’s head straight, reach

change in an animals appearance is feet placement. It

How can I grow better leg hair?
A roto fluffer brush can help grow new leg hair by stimulating and invigorating the skin and hair. Start with damp hair and lightly touch the rotating
brush to the leg hair. Let the brush do the work, do not push hard against the

For best results your show animal should be washed and blown dry as a regular routine. Before you begin
washing, blow all the dirt and dust out of the animals hair. Using a Foamer apply shampoo to the animal,
working hair as you wash and after rinsing completely. DO not leave any soap residue in the hair. A conditioner should be used daily to help keep hair healthy to stimulate hair growth.

The Chin Ball Marker is an effective heat detection aid for
cattle. A rugged nylon strap and heavy buckle hold the
polyvinyl harness underneath the chin of a penectomized

branding is a technique in which a super-cold branding iron
properly applied to the animal’s hide kills the pigment producing
