The new Cobra Collection launches a new chapter in
LIVING Georg Jensen history as it introduces porcelain
tableware and a sculptural, majestic lamp. The elegant
plates, bowls, glasses and lamp are a gathering of
coherent serpentine-inspired shapes: the smooth
folds and waves create movement on the table; the
handmade glass tumblers accent the white porcelain.
For the first time, LIVING Georg Jensen adds porcelain
tableware to its range of desirable objects of design.
The Cobra Collection is a refreshing take on this classic
and traditional material. The new range of plates and
bowls support the existing collectibles and expands
the possibilities of LIVING Georg Jensen even further
with a completely new product category.

CONSTANTIN WORTMANN
Constantin Wortmann is a close collaborator of LIVING Georg Jensen. The German
designer studied design in Munich and
co-founded the design studio Büro für Form.
His signature organic shapes span lighting,
industrial, furniture and living design and
create unique environments. Constantin
Wortmann holds numerous awards, has
been exhibited internationally — and has
designed several beloved pieces for LIVING
Georg Jensen.

From carafes to bowls and cutlery, the
surprising and zesty landscape of the
Alfredo Collection has been extraordinarily
well recognized, winning a Wallpaper
Design Award in 2012.
Now, Alfredo Häberli adds decor to the
range as he introduces a series of energetic
vases in steel or handmade glass and an
elegant étagère. The collection is youthful
and demands attention, as the scale of
the vases render them sculptures in their
own right.

Argentinian-born Alfredo Häberli is based in
Zürich, where he graduated with distinction
in Industrial Design in 1991. His work is
innovative, vibrant and bold, imbued with
a compelling energy and humour inspired
by his childhood in colourful Buenos Aires.
For LIVING Georg Jensen, Häberli creates
daring, dazzling designs — as well as his line
of children’s toys.

Helle Damkjær’s Bloom Collection has been
a home decor offering from LIVING Georg
Jensen for years. Inspired by Scandinavian
nature and the fragile droplets of morning
dew, LIVING Georg Jensen presents a range
of seven new products that envision shoots
of blossoming plants and flowing water.
Featuring brand-new instant classics, it
is sensual design that is deeply rooted in
Scandinavian tradition: minimalist and
functional, beautiful yet subtle pieces for
the everyday.

HELLE DAMKJÆR
Introduced 15 years ago, the sensual and
sleek Bloom Collection by Helle Damkjær
has become iconic. Helle Damkjær’s work
has been hailed with prestigious awards
that include the Red Dot Design Award,
the Design Plus Award and the Wallpaper
Magazine Design Award. This Danish designer has applied her sensual and soft idiom
to jewellery, furniture design and home
accessories. Her work for LIVING Georg
Jensen has truly inscribed itself in design
history. The mirror bowls and serving dishes
have become signature pieces. They have
highlighted and told the unique story of
LIVING Georg Jensen for a decade and a half
— and continue to do so to this very day.

The Copenhagen-based designer has
introduced a new dimension to the Barbry
Collection for LIVING Georg Jensen that
brings dining objects to the popular array
of existing kitchenware. Inspired by the
successful New Nordic cuisine, these pieces
have a touch of quintessentially Nordic
oak. It lightly accents the light glass and
stainless steel and references the wooden
kitchenware of Barbry’s earlier work for
LIVING Georg Jensen.

“Design is an exercise where you take the
simplest things in your daily life and ask
yourself how they could be done differently,”
celebrated French designer Aurélien Barbry
says of his designs. ”I want to move objects
towards simplicity and obviousness of the
form so it becomes dialogue with the end
user.” The combination of the sculptural
aesthetics of Aurélien Barbry and functional
pieces made for modern living results in
refined essentials that extend the current
collection in new ways.

LIVING Georg Jensen breathes new life
into classic and refined designs. Creating
a new, modern and complete concept
around the existing historic collection,
LIVING Georg Jensen reintroduces three
iconic pieces: two of the popular wall clocks
and a set of stainless steel candle holders.
The new collection also includes a wooden
bonbonnière in oak that reinvigorates the
legacy of this artistic Danish master.

HENNING KOPPEL
When sculptor and artist Henning Koppel
started working with the Georg Jensen
silversmiths in 1945, he created some of the
most iconic designs in Georg Jensen history.
His silver pitchers and the large fish tray
have written design history, and his vast
amount of work and legacy is a testament
to Koppel’s long collaboration with Georg
Jensen. Koppel died in 1981, but his vision of
good design — that one should not sacrifice
beauty for functionality — still lives on today
as his pitchers and wall clocks are timeless
LIVING Georg Jensen staples.

the Supernova Collection highlight the
dramatic approach of Rebecca Uth. The
visual expression of the collection’s bowls

The proportions emphasize each object’s

use: no extra details are needed for these

The Christmas Collectibles have been an annual LIVING
Georg Jensen tradition since they were first introduced in
1984. With a new designer each year, the collectibles are
LIVING Georg Jensen’s contemporary take on traditional
holiday decoration. This year’s Christmas Collectibles,
designed by Louise Campbell, are light and playful.
As exclusive seasonal collectibles in either 24 carat
plated gold or palladium plate, they are traditional,
yet modern. The cutouts on hearts and stars and the
clean candle holders and ornaments of golden balls
or Christmas bells make Louise Campbell’s collectibles
sleek and modern.

LOUISE CAMPBELL
Louise Campbell graduated from London
College of Furniture in 1992 and went on
to study Industrial Design at the Danish
Design School where she graduated in
1995. She has won multiple awards like
the Finn Juhl Prize, the Bruno Mathsson
Award and the Prince Eugen medal. Her
work centres on furniture, lightning design
and product design and is often playful
and experimental. Campbell manipulates
materials and manufacturing processes
and creates new, surprising design objects.
