Commercial –Residential Patent 326 Apartment Complex_Warren and Mahoney Architects Ltd -‐ The design is a considered response to Wellington’s unique environment. Situated on the foreshore of Evans Bay, Wellington, each of the 43 apartments was individually designed to maximise access to views, natural light and external sheltered spaces. As project architect for Patent 326, while employed by Warren and Mahoney Architects Ltd, substantial design and design management experience was obtained with this urban scale commercial project. Residential Rutherford Solon Studio _Motm Architects Ltd. The first stage of a larger 4-‐bedroom house designed by Motm Architects as home and office space, this independent studio will become a self-‐contained guest wing of the completed house. While Motm architects have a wide range of experience with house additions and restoration, new construction offers the greatest opportunity to fulfil our client’s current aspirations while allowing the flexibility to adapt to future changes. Interior Private Wine Cellar _New Work Studio Architects Ltd. Interior design is where good designs become exceptional designs. How a space is experienced depends on attention to lighting, materials and furnishing choices, connection to exterior space and access to naural light. Consideration for the interior design therefore begins at inception of the project. Commercial/Retail Motm Architects has a wide range of experience as with commercial projects. From larger retail fitouts -‐ such as Boots Chemists in the UK -‐ to smaller kiosk design in local shopping precincts. This office interior was a complete refurbishment of a top floor of a central city office tower carried out while at by Warren and Mahoney Archiects. As project archtect, design quality, cost and time was effectively manged throughout.
