the Second
Intifada, the
Federation had
raised $1.04
million for bomb
shelters, security,
policing vehicles,
and Israel’s
preparedness
during the war
with Iraq.
In July 2006, during Israel’s war
with Hezbollah, the Federation
raised another $413,000 for
trauma services, terror relief,
housing and repairs.
