Dear Divas,
Are you ready for the year of your dreams? This year is going
to be our most amazing yet. I love that Mary Kay’s theme this
year is Embrace Your Dreams. We all have things we want out
of life. Sometimes it’s as simple as more time or money to be
able to do more of the things you’re already doing. Often we
want to provide opportunities for those we love. Maybe you are
focusing on growing as a person. Maybe it comes down to
wanting more choices. Whatever your goals, Mary Kay can be
a part of making those dreams come true. It’s as simple as
breaking down the goals into manageable activities and getting
to work.
I’m ready to embrace my dreams and make them all come
true- how about you? As Mary Kay has pointed out, the best
way to do this is to work our business full circle. Booking,
coaching, selling and sharing can take you anywhere you want
to go in this business. Plus, they always answer the question
of “what’s next?” When calling the prospect that you met at
the mall, your first goal is to book a selling appointment. Your
next goal is to coach that facial into a class so she gets free
product and shows you that she’s willing to put in a little leg
work for some big rewards. We all know you should be sold on
the product to be able to sell it yourself, and someone who is
sold on the products usually makes a great team member, so
offering her the opportunity is the next logical step. I know it
sounds great on paper and sometimes it can be a little trickier
in person, but it’s so nice to always be able to take a step back
and figure out what your next step is based on where you
currently are in the process.
So, what’s the first step? It’s almost always getting out there
and booking classes! That means dusting off those profiles
and warm chattering out and about as a part of your life. It’s
summer- we’re all out meeting people and talking to strangers
about how hot it is. It’s just one more step to talk about how
grateful you are for Mary Kay’s sunscreen or anti-aging
products that reverse sun damage, or how much you love your
new summer look. I challenge you to take that next step this
month. If you’re feeling shy or a little scared and can’t seem
to reach out and ask for her name and number, change the
background on your phone to be your reason why you’re trying
to grow your business. Every time you see it, remind yourself
that you never know how much of an impact this one moment
can have on your business. Maybe she’s your next national
sales director offspring!! Take a chance on yourself. I know
you’re worth it, and you’ll never regret stepping out, but you
might regret not trying! I believe in you!

August 1: Online DIQ form available at 12:01 central time until
midnight on the 3rd. Class of 2017 Offspring Challenge begins.

August 7: International Friendship Day

August 10: PCP early ordering privilege begins.

August 14: PCP Summer Look begins mailing.

August 16: Product ordering opens for all consultants.

August 21: Senior Citizens Day

August 24: PCP Online enrollment for Holiday 2016 ends.

August 26: Women's Equality Day

August 30: Last day of the month for consultants to place
telephone orders (until 10pm CST).

August 31: Last day of the month for consultants to place online
orders (until 9pm CST). Last business day of the month. Orders
and agreements dropped off at the branches must be received by
7pm local time to count towards this month’s production. Online
agreements accepted until midnight CST.
After you identify the core belief or habitual thought that you would like to
change, ask yourself some questions about it:
 What specific negative belief would I like to change?
 Why is it important that I change it?
 What will happen if I don’t begin to face and change this belief?
 What would I like to replace this belief with?
 How long have I lived with this belief?
 Do I know when and how it got installed?
 Did this belief get installed in an instant?
 Did this belief get injected in small but repeated doses that
eventually became poisonous?
 When this negative belief fills my mind, is it mostly visual or
auditory? Do I see it or fear it? Is it the image or the sound that
carries the most impact?
 If it is auditory, is it loud or overwhelming, coming at me like a
digitized Dolby sound system? Or is it insidiously quiet like the hiss
of a snake about to strike?
