Spring 2015 First Time Auto Buyers Program Are you ready to buy your first car? If so, we can help with our First Time Auto Buyer Program. This loan program is designed for those who have little to no credit and are ready to embark on the purchase of their first automobile. This loan comes with low rates, manageable terms and is an excellent way to establish a credit history. Here’s what you will need to know … • • • • Must be 18 years or older Must be employed for a minimum of one year or have a qualified co-signer Have not financed an auto loan in your name before No derogatory credit history • • • Maximum loan amount is $18,000 Debt to income ratio not to exceed 40% Maximum loan to value is 90% with a minimum of 10% cash down. Minimum cash down requirement is not required when a qualified co-signer is provided. Any student who is approved and has a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher will receive .50% off their rate*. *must be a current high school or college student. Unofficial transcript must be submitted during the application process. All loans are subject to credit approval. Rates are based on your credit history, term and age of vehicle. Must meet eligibility requirements to join. Rates & terms are subject to change. Gloff Scholarship are now available to prospective students who would like to be considered for a $1,000 HRTFCU scholarship. We are very excited about the success of our scholarship program and very pleased to be awarding, once again, two $1,000 scholarships for the 20142015 school year. Scholarship selections are based on financial need, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service, written essay and personal goals. To be considered, applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, May 15, 2015. Scholarship recipients will be notified by telephone or mail on or before June 12, 2015.
