PROJECT IDEA
CONGRESS GOALS
The idea of 9th Medical Polonia Congress and 2nd International Polish
Doctors Convention 2016
is to provide a platform for exchanging knowledge and experience in contemporary medicine and a meeting place for
physicians and scientists with Polish roots with those who live and work in Poland.
Since the 1990s the leitmotif of the event, which is the most important convention of physicians from Poland and abroad,
has been inspiration to raise both the quality and safety of medical treatment.

The event will be held under the Honorary Patronage
of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.

PROGRAMME
The event will include scientific debates and presentations of latest discoveries in the area of medicine, as well as meetings
and associated events, aimed at direct exchange of experiences and maintaining relations between physicians and scientists
with Polish roots and those who live and work in Poland.
The leitmotif of the convention, which is the most important meeting for doctors with Polish origins from all over the world,
is primarily to inspire quality and safety of the treatment process.
Medical programme of the 9th Medical Polonia Congress and 2nd International Polish Doctors Convention 2016
includes sessions concerning among others medical advancements, transparency of doctors’ relations with the
pharmaceutical companies, patients’ expectations and the reality of medical education, optimum model of oncological
healthcare, as well as issues tied to the promotion of medical knowledge concerning vaccinations.
