Nordic Youth Trophy is a unique pre season cup and an event with high
ambitions for youth ice hockey. We want to improve and develop the
conditions for a growing hockey activity in the future. This is achieved
by, among other strategic actions, building a common meeting place
for children and young people from different parts of the world and
their managers and leaders to practice, develop, compete and have fun
together.
In the pilot run in 2011 36 teams participated in 6 different places in
Värmland together with Nordic Girl Power Camp, a new training camp for
girls. The tournament is now growing to two parallel groups, 60 teams, 10
arenas and several joined up arrangements.
There are plenty of opportunities to combine Nordic Youth Trophy with
your own training camps to prepare the team for the competition. For
managers, parents and other visitors a number of different activities
and offers will be arranged, making it the best possible end of summer
experience.

exciting development camp and competition for
girls.
Beginners and Players
Girl Power Camp is a meeting point for both
beginners and already active hockey girls.

Highlight – Evening event for all participants in Nordic Youth Trophy at Löfbergs Lila Arena on Friday 17th
of August. Hockey players and the teams’ coaching staff are invited to watch top class hockey entertainment as home team Färjestad BK meets Swiss team Zug in the elite tournament European Trophy.

Finals & placement games, 19 Aug
Winners in A and B groups play finals in the Nobel Arena,
Karlskoga. Seconds in the A group will meet in game for third
prize. Other teams play placement games.
Game duration: 2x20 minutes
Participants are divided into two groups. In one group
no earlier practice or skills are required – we test out
ice skating techniques, stick handling, passes and
shots and the girls will learn basic hockey.
In the other group for already active players we mix
theory and practice and the camp ends with a mini
competition.
We gather girls with a common interest in hockey
for fun and valuable activities and a chance to create
lasting friendships.
Our base is Hammarö by beautiful lake Vänern in
Värmland .

End: 5 pm 19th of August
