Time Breaker by Aisea
I didn’t know what happened to... well everything! I think it
started in high school, I was walking to Chemistry. I was
having Mr Mikfox. We were combining two ores Metal and
copper. I got a B- which I is my average score for every class I
have. When Chemistry ended I turned left form everyone else.
I saw something weird. I found an object that looked like a
potato with choc chip on it. I tried to bite it but it cracked my
tooth. Then I pressed one of the choc chip things on the
potato looking thing...DIN! The sun suddenly appeared
“What happened?” I said in confusion. I looked at my book. The words faded away, I turned the
pages three times and it said my earlier writing. I checked the remote in the light, it had numbers
one to nine at the bottom it had the letters s, m, mth, yrs. I pressed one and m...DIN! I went
back one minute and everyone came out of chemistry. I wounded. I ran outside and pressed h...
DIN!
“Wow!” It was six o’clock in the morning it was pitch black. I was deathly afraid of the dark! I
looked at the remote and pressed random buttons...DIN! I was knocked out. I saw a funny
looking dressed man.
“Wake up you fool,” said the funny dressed man.
“Get up or face the wrath of Captain Cook!” I suddenly looked up and saw Captain Cook. Firstly
I thought it was an allusion but when he pointed his sword at me I knew it was no illusion I was
thrown in the prison floor, I looked out the cannon hole I was on a ship. I thought to myself if I
don’t get off the ship and get home I’ll be sick, I’ll miss dinner and I’ll stay here forever! I made
my plan on a ruined peace of a t-shirt.
“Umm dude that’s mine.” said a man. My plan was to knock on the door of the prison door
making the guard come in, I lock him in and make my way to Captain Cook’s room to steal the
remote and make it back home. It sounded easy but it was harder than it looked. I accomplished
the first part and the second part of the plan. The third part was hard. I avoided the crew and
made it to Captain Cook’s room. I saw the remote as well as the captain.
“Well, you’re here to take your trophy,” shorted Captain Cook, “Well you need to fight to earn
your object.” He grabbed the remote and placed it in his belts. He grabbed his sword. I grabbed
a sword off the wall and started running at him. We fought and fought but eventually I got an
opening. I cut the belt, grabbed the remote then pressed the forwards button then pressed
2.0.1.5...DIN! I fell face first on to the street. Will things never be normal for just one day?
The Weird Remote by Brendan
It was just an ordinary day walking to School but something
wasn’t right. When I got there NOBODY was there. Then I
realised today was Saturday. I felt so dumb, so I started walking
back home felling like a weirdo. Then five seconds later after I
had said that, a weird remote was just sitting there on the foot
path. the only weird thing about it was that it looked like my TV
remote that I had lost last week. I rushed back home to watch
my newest movie Fast and Furious 7,but I was running so fast up
the stairs that I tripped over on the last step and pressed the
rewind button on my cat. The cat stood up and started walking
backwards. Then I pressed pause and realised that this remote
had special powers!
Just then I came up with an idea.
“This can be a big advantage for me”! I said. I thought that if I
froze the main BIG BAD BULLIES at my school they would learn
a lesson and stop bullying other students.
Today was Monday and it was time to stop the bullies and save
the school. Today all of the bullies were coming after me. I knew
this wasn’t good I thought fast and started running as fast as I
could. I got trapped in a corner. Then I realised that the remote
was in my pocket I quickly got out the remote and froze all of the
bullies. I took them to the Principal’s office. He suspended the
bullies for a month. That is how I started my career as a super
hero.
The magical remote and a broken arm

On the first day of school Jinny the
Principal of Warrawong High School saw
Ty the rat punching squeakers the mouse.
Ty was put on a level. Jinny leaned out the
window when suddenly she fell. Ty was in the Principal’s office. He
had the remote. He pointed the remote at Jinny and pressed
rewind. Jinny came back up and Ty turned around and she was
pushed out the window by Squeakers for telling him to not ride a
BMX bike in the hall during assembly. So he pushed her and she
fell out the window and she broke her arm but luckily an
ambulance was driving past and saw her falling. They pulled over
and got the stretcher to put her on to take her to the hospital.
After one hour she was brought back to school. The other
teacher named Leah Korte went to the science room to teach
year 10 science for the teacher named Cassie Priest. When
science was over Cassie had to teach mathematics to year 12.
When it was the end of the day Ty and Jinny – Rose went home.
“Why is Ty crying?” her mum said Jinny said “I put him on a level
for punching another student” Jason her dad said
“ok that’s fine because you can’t punch people at school”.
Ty said “can we get a pizza, a frozen coke and a 1.25L SOLO” and
his mum said
“ok let’s go” Jinny said “Can we take dad’s Holden Colorado?”
My remote story by Cruise
It was an ordinary day at collage until the test started. Jeff was really stupid. He
went to the toilet. Walking past the collage basement he saw this weird looking
remote and he thought to himself, I wonder what I could use this for? He got
back to the classroom and they had already
started the test. Jeff got straight into it and
he wondered why do I have to do the test?
Then he pressed the pause button and
everyone got paused. Then he EXCLAIMED
“hooray this remote is magic. Now this can
give me some time to write the answers
down”. An hour later the test finished and
Jeff got 100%. He was the smartest person
in collage for now.
While Jason was getting crowded by
random people and getting invited to about 20 to 30 parties a week he usually
did not go to them. He mostly just went to party’s to get away from his
annoying dad Bob. He also worked at the same collage. The bad thing was they
shared the same room and he snored very loudly, also they had a stupid robot
that walked around collage saying buy steroids only for six dollars. Most of the
people bought it that usually play football to make them bigger and stronger.
While Jeff the stupid student was being interviewed by people on how he got
100% in the test, he got asked how did you got 100% when nobody has ever
gotten that mark before. He was really happy that he was not stupid for now
with that remote. Jeff ran away because he was getting annoyed. He went to
cool off at the bubblers. There was a person drinking from his tap so he paused
the person with laughter. But the bad thing is that Larry was cleaning the girl’s
bubblers right next to the boys so Larry reported it to the Head Principal and
said I know how Jeff got 100% marks in his work. He probably froze people and
copied there work. He also said I saw him with a remote that froze a student.
The Principal called Jeff up to his office. He got suspended and the remote was
taken of him. He also got 0% marks in the test for cheating.
Remoteeeeee by Dylan
One day a kid named Jason is walking to school. He walks past a pile of
junk and he sees a strange mysterious remote flashing so he went over to
the remote and picked it up He said “I’m going to take this home and have
a look at this mysterious remote control. There is something strange
about it”. So he walked to school with the remote control in his bag. When
he got to school he went to the toilets and checked on the strange
remote. He pressed the pause button on a kid that walked into the toilets
and Jason’s face was shocked because he paused a kid that was now
frozen.
Jason pressed play and the kid unfroze and walked off and not
remembering anything that had happened. Jason knew he was on to
something. He thought to himself I could use it on the bully name Hunter
who bashes people because they won’t give him their lunch money. But the
main person Hunter picks on is James the new kid that owns a pet mouse
named Squeakers. At the end of the school day Jason was walking home
and he saw a bird about to get run over by a car. Jason paused the car so
that the bird could fly off without a tragic accident happening. Then he
pressed play on the car and off went the car. The bully saw what the
remote did to the car so Hunter the bully followed Jason. He caught up to
Jason and then Hunter snatched it out of Jason hands. Hunter said “good
luck at the race tomorrow when I pause you so I can win hahahaha!” Jason
knew hunter was going to win so Jason said “I’m going to steal my remote
back from him. “So Jason snuck out at night and went to Hunter house he
stole the remote back. The next day it was the race and it was Jason and
Hunter racing Jason had the remote and Hunter didn’t look happy. So bang
went the gun. When Hunter was in front Jason used the secret weapon
and hunter was frozen. Jason kept running and won he unfroze Hunter and
he smash the remote and walked off.
Remote Powers by Emilia
Something knocked on my white wooden door, Leila
and I freaked out. Then we realised it was mum. ‘’
Hey, Girls could you please be a little quiet” asked
Mum. “Your Brother and I are trying to sleep.”
“Yes Mrs Taylor” said Leila politely.
“Ok mum” I said.
“Oh and by the way, Ashley remember it’s your turn
to make the beds!” explained mum, then she walked
away. I switched the light off and hopped into bed.
Leila was tucked in already. I sighed and fell asleep,
Leila did too.
The night passed and it was morning. I walked Leila home and rushed back. I reached the
house finding mum had gone to drop off my little brother Jake to pre-school. I went in and
began to make mum’s bed. Then something caught my eye. I faced the book shelf and I saw a
gap between two books. I approached it slowly and reached my hand through finding an odd
box. It had ancient symbols. I called Leila, because she studied ancient symbols for a year at the
High School, she answered saying she’ll have a look at it on Monday so I had wait two days I
rushed to my room and hid it in my wardrobe then continued my task. After I had finished
making the beds I went to feed the Budgies, Twilight a blue and yellow budgie, and Lightning a
yellow budgie. Twilight was mine and Lightning was my brother Jakes. I cleaned out their cage
and fed them. I had finished my work.
I got out the box and analysed it, when suddenly someone knocked on the front door. I ran
and hid the box again, and then I answered the door. It was mum. I gave her a friendly hi and
welcomed her in. She walked in and analysed the rooms then gave me a $5 note, I rejected it
and she took it back.
“Honey, I’m going to the shops with Jamie, ok, so I’ll be back in an hour. Be safe!” she got her
bag and rushed out the door I walked outside to say goodbye and ran inside. I forgot to close
the door and the cat got outside, I didn’t notice. I ran to my room and grabbed the box again,
and then I dialled my phone. Leila picked up, I explained the symbols one of them was familiar
to me; I remember my mum said to never read it out or doom shall fall over the world. I was so
curious to find what’s inside and Leila was describing that the symbols meant evil and great
power. I disobeyed Leila and opened it slowly; I thought it was like a demon, or a weapon or a
serious spell. I opened it and it was….
A Remote? I was so confused, although it is a very pretty one. I hung up on Leila and decided to
message mum that I’m going to the park. I tucked my phone in my skinny jeans pocket and the
remote in my handbag. I walked off. 10 minutes later I had arrived and brought out the
remote, then pretended to zap people when someone ran into me, making me bump a button.
The remote was pointing at Jaydan a friend of Jake. I watched as he started to move 3 times
faster. The other boys stopped and watched as the one in ace was moving like lightning. I felt
curious so I pressed the middle one which paused him. Then I pressed another that I presume
was play, although it was rewind. There was one more button which was play. I pressed play
and the boy stopped and asked what was going on. All the others stared in amazement. The
boy felt embarrassed, and ran towards his mum who tried to cheer him up. I realised that this
remote held great powers.
As a good person I shoved it in my bag and walked off to Leila’s house. I reached it and saw
Leila was out the front playing with my cat! How did my cat get there I wondered? She brought
elegant to me and said ” you didn’t listen to me and opened the box,” I showed her the
remote. She stared in shock and tried to grab it off of me. I hid it behind me and said no but
she just stared at me like she was possessed. I ran as quickly as I could but she caught up and
grabbed it off of me, I took it back and she froze. I looked around and found that everyone
froze accept for me, I wondered do they still move and I froze? Or Leila froze me and this was
the end. I walked away, tears in my eye. Maybe I should have just put it back or never tried to
open it. I felt depressed and lonely. If it wasn’t for me, this world would still move. I sat at a set
of stairs and cried.
An Idea came to me. I still have the remote, I ran home, rushing. I arrived finding that my mum
was blocking the door, trying to unlock it. I ran around the back and unlocked the door. I
remember that Leila said that the box has powers too. I grabbed it and shoved the remote in it.
Nothing happened. I was shocked; I dropped the box with the remote in it and sat on my bed. I
was crying. Then my mum had come in.
“Why are you crying, Ashley? I have only been away for an hour and now you’re crying, what
happened?” I sat up and looked at her, wiping my tears away. She looked in front of me finding
the box.
“What’s this?” She took it to her room and hid it, in between the gap. “Were you snooping
around in my room? Luckily you hadn’t touched the object inside my box.” She explained.
“What’s in it?” I asked.
“Oh just a charm from my necklace.” She gave me a picture of it. I decided to keep it. When
something shouted wake up, wake up! I blinked twice. Realising it was all just a dream. Leila
stood next to me with a polite normal smile. I looked at the alarm clock, noticing it was
8:30am. I wonder, did my dream tell me something or not. Oh it told me to never take an Item
that is not yours. Luckily I did once, But I never did again.
The competition by Emma
It was the day I had to go up to Sydney for the Sydney Royal
Easter Show for my three horse competition I was so nervous.
I was competing
against my two best
friends well I should
say one best friend.
Last week at school I
had a big fight with my
friend Maddie. I really
wanted to beat her!
We got to the show I got my horse April off the float and put
her in her stable, got all her things out of the car. I was walking
around the stalls. There was this stall called the magic remote
then I had an idea to do to Maddie in the competition so I
bought one remote.
It was the night before my first competition. I was laying on
the lounge, I was so nervous. It was the day of my first show. I
went to get my horse ready. I was riding my horse to the ring. I
had the remote in my pocket. The judge called Maddie’s horse
out.
I got the remote and pointed at Abby then Maddie fell off and
then dropped to the ground and Abby froze. It was my turn
the judge called April out in to the ring. I was so good I won
my first show.
Tomorrow was my second competition. I said to mum that I
know I am going to win. Then mum said I am so pound of you.
It was the next day and I was getting ready for my second
show. Mum came down and said good luck. I rode down to
the ring and waited to get called out. Maddie got called. She
cantered into the ring I got the remote and pressed the button
and Maddie fell off again and Abby froze.
I pressed play and Abby started
walking again. They took Abby out of
the ring. Maddie left the show, she
was so cranky. I won my second show.
I was happy I could not wait till
tomorrow, I was going to win it. It was
getting dark. I was playing my phone
then I went to bed and fell asleep.
It was six o’clock. I was down at the
stables getting Abby ready. It was eight o’clock and I was
riding over to the ring. They called out Maddie but there was
no Maddie so they called out the next person and that was
me. I cantered out into the ring and did the course. Then the
judge called out the winner. Two months later I was at
Melbourne at the nationals.
The Strange Remote by Etienne
I’m running for my life because of Tom [the athletic bully]
and Meguster [Tom’s personal slave].Any way I’m
running down the street with my magic remote that a
Hobo gave me behind a dumpster for free. But I was so
focused on not getting beat up by Tom and Meguster
that I tripped over a crack in the foot path, the remote
slipped out of my hand and skid onto the road. Some
cars were so close to crushing the remote. I was terrified
but I came up with an idea. I was going to push the
button to stop the cars so people could cross the road.
Then I was going to hide behind a bush so the bullies
could run past me. Then I would have enough time to
get the remote. Then I was going to get Tom and
Meguster’s attention to freeze them with my magic
remote so I could walk home without a worry.
When I was thinking about the plan Tom and Meguster
grabbed me by the arm. They made me watch the remote get destroyed by a
4x4.
“Ha ha, good luck with trying to fix the remote now Thomas” said Tom in his
cackling voice. “Ahhhhh but Tom and Meguster didn’t know that my genius
brother Richard made the remote” said Thomas with an evil voice. “Sometimes
it’s too easy being me but I’d better tell Richard the bad news”.
“Hey Richard how was college” I said with a nervous voice.
“Good. I decided to play star quarter back for the Sea Hawks in NFL and be a
part time genius” said Richard without noticing the nervous tone in my voice.
“Any way I kind of broke the remote” I said hoping my brother wouldn’t freak out.
“WHAT, DID YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO MAKE THAT REMOTE” said
Richard in his loudest voice!?
He walked over to his room and was thinking for quite a while. After 20 minutes
of thinking he decided to make another remote but there was a twist. He wasn’t
going to give it to me he was keeping it for himself so I wouldn’t break it again.
It’s Monday to day and I wanted to use Richards remote to cheat on my spelling
test. I was hopeless at spelling I was one of the dumbest kids in school.
“Richard can I please use your remote” I asked in a begging voice,
“No” he said knowing I would listen to him.
I could tell he wasn’t in the mood. The test was starting my first word was
university I can’t write a word like they must think I was a rocket genius and that
was my next word genius now that I can spell I was in the middle of spelling
genius until something caught my eye. It was Tom and Meguster. Tom was
holding my magic remote it was the same remote that got squashed by the 4x4
the remote was covered in duct tape and band aids. I saw them aim at the
teacher press pause. It worked, the remote was still functional that means I have
a chance at getting it back. I followed Tom and Meguster after school. Tom aimed
the remote at a car and was about to press fast forward. They must have been
insane to try something like that but they changed their mind and they kept
walking. I finally decided to show my self
“HEY give me my remote back” I said with all my confidence.
Tom didn’t say anything he pointed the remote at me and pressed pause. I was a
statue I couldn’t move but there was something I didn’t get Tom and Meguster
ran away and dropped the remote. It was Richard he scared them off
“Looks like you’re trust worthy after all” said Richard.
I couldn’t move but he knew I was trying to saying thanks.
The Magic Remote by Hannah
One afternoon Jessica and her friend Samantha
decided to finish their homework but they needed
to get a pencil. They went downstairs to get a
pencil from the basement. Two minutes later they
finally found a pencil under a pile of junk. As they
started walking down the stairs out from nowhere
they heard a big THUMP.As scared as they both
were they still got up and checked what it was just
in case. THUMP. There it was again. They saw a big
box with a note on the front that said Do NOT
TOUCH! They were both very scared they wanted to check what it was. As they slowly
opened the box a big stream of light shone in front of them. As they threw all of the old
photos out they saw an old remote control. It wasn't just any kind of remote control. It
had buttons as big as marbles and it had old and dusty batteries that looked like they
were ancient. As they took it out of the box a whole bunch of dust fell before them.
They took it down to Jessica's room and tried to use it on her TV but as much as they
tried it just wouldn't work. As they both flopped down on to the bed they realised that
Jessica's cat Fluffy was not moving at all. She was as stiff and still as a statue. They both
started to worry but then Samantha came up with the weirdest, dumbest, most horrible
idea ever. She thought that the remote control could have paused her. As much as they
doubted that this would work it was worth a try. They slowly pointed the remote control
at the cat and pressed the biggest button of the entire remote Play button they heard a
small MEOW ‘IT WORKED’ they screamed at the top of their lungs Samantha’s Weirdest,
Dumbest, most horrible idea WORKED it was a miracle!
Then Jessica realised this could be the best show and tell in the world. She had to take it
to school but she knew she couldn’t tell mum. She had to sneak it past mum, take it to
school, show everyone the remote control and bring it right back home. This would be
the best idea ever!
The next day at school Jessica decided to show her teacher her show and tell before she
showed the class. The only thing Mr Smith asked was where is your homework? Jessica
had got distracted by the remote and forgotten about her homework. She know exactly
what to do she pointed the remote control at herself and pressed fast forward. She
could fast forward, home get her homework and come back to school. All she had to do
was go somewhere where no one was.
As she walked in to the locker room she fully checked if no one was there slowly pointed
the remote control at herself and away she went straight out the school gate, down her
friend’s street, on to her street, up her driveway and into the door. It was just Jessica
doing the homework all by herself. This was going to take ages unless she fast forward
herself. It would not take ages as she slowly pointed the remote control at herself again
and before she knew it she has finished her work, went out the door, past her street,
past her friends street and back into the school gates.
When she handed her teacher the homework she asked her teacher if she could show
the class her show and tell he nodded his head and gathered up the class. As she started
showing the class her remote she tell told them that It has magical powers It could play,
pause, fast forward and rewind anyone even animals. She knew that the class didn’t
believe her. Show she showed them the proof she pointed the remote at Tom the class
hamster and out came his food as fast as a waterfall. As the teacher shakes his head in
disgust she realized that the school bully Emilia was planning to take the remote control
from her. She started to think of what she could do to stop her from taking it.Then she
came up with a plan it wasn’t the best plan but at least it was one. She thought that If
she left the remote under her desks overnight and comes back to get it tomorrow
because as everyone knew the class rule is that you can’t touch other peoples desk so
that should stop Emilia.
The next day Jessica remembered that she left the remote control under her desk. She
decided to wait until the afternoon to get it. That afternoon Jessica and her friend got
together to get the remote just in case Emilia was there. As they walked into the
classroom they saw a big crowd around Jessica’s desk and knew exactly why Emilia had
broken the class rule and had gone and touched Jessica’s remote. As Jessica barged
through the crowd to the front she saw Emilia holding the remote playing around with
it. When Emilia saw Jessica she tried to hit her with the pause button. Suddenly Jessica
pulled out her mirror and deflected It instead of it pausing her it paused Emilia. When
she was paused, Jessica quickly grabbed the remote ran out of the classroom. Suddenly
in came Mr Smith. Before she ran out she decided to Tom play Emilia again and tells Mr
Smith that she touched her desk because she knew Emilia was going to get in trouble for
it.
The next day Jessica quickly put back the remote control and never touched it again. She
also learned not to touch something that is not yours she knew that Emilia learned that
lesson too.
The Magic Remote by Isobel
It was just a normal day in my world, or so I thought. My name is Bella and this is
my crazy story about a very simple thing. A remote control.
I was doing my usual, boring, every day homework
but I ran out of paper.
“AUNT JEMMAAAAA!” I yelled from the lounge room.
“DO YOU HAVE ANY PAPER?” I heard footsteps
coming down the stairs.
“Yes I do in my room” she said in a soft voice. “a
whole book of it, but don’t touch anything else okay
Bella?”
“Yes Aunt Jemma”. I replied. I ran up the stairs to her
room. I rarely went in there. Her room had a high
wooden door with a silver knob in the shape of a heart. The door was open so I
walked in. It was a mess. There was a pile of blankets in the corner, an enormous
tower of clothes in the middle of the floor and a crowded desk with lots of school
supplies. There was also a little wooden box with dragons carved into it.
“Cool,” I whispered to myself. “Let’s see what’s in it”. I turned the tiny knob and
inside was a…T.V remote? I put the weird remote into my pocket and swiftly ran
down the stairs outside to the garage.
“Yes!” I exclaimed. I saw two batteries on the shelf. I put them into the remote.
My dog Scruffy was eating his food next to his kennel. I pointed to remote at him
as a joke and pressed the rewind button.
“What the-,“ My dog was un eating his kibble. It was unbelievable. It was
something people would pay to see. I could just imagine the headlines. “AMAZING
DOG UN-EATS HIS FOOD” It was out of this world. I pressed play and he just
carried on eating. I was thinking of all the things I could do with this thing. Pause
the teacher and get all the answers to the spelling test, pause people while they
are running the cross country, maybe even take over the world! My imagination
was running wild.
The strange remote by Jimmy
One day Dean who is an only child,
went on a jog and found a strange
looking remote. He had a friend who
was a scientist and had a pet mouse
named Squeaky. Later that day
Dean took the remote to the scientist
to run some tests on it. After an hour
of running tests on the remote he
discovered that it has special
powers.
After Dean got out of the lab he out
some of the buttons out on people
he discovered that the button on the
left was rewind, middle was pause and the right was fast forward.
The next day the first thing that dean did was go to Wet and Wild.
All the lines were too long so he pressed the rewind button.
Everyone backed out of the line and he was first.
That night his parents told him to go to bed but he didn’t feel tired
so he paused them and went to his room to play. The next morning
he woke up hearing a loud banging noise and people yelling and
screaming. He jumped up and looked out the window but what he
saw was a mob of people. He started running. They chased him
but just then he remembered why they were running after him. It
was because of the remote.
All of a sudden he stopped and faced them. He took out the remote
smashed it and he apologised. They all forgave him and he lived
happily ever after, or did he?

“James, Chloe, are you two ready for your Galah day at school?’’
“Yes’’ I repeated. Today was our schools Galah day. I didn’t want to go but mum made me.
I hate it. Every year our school has clean-up day before we go to the Galah day. I don’t like
it but I did today because something happened to me while I was cleaning. I found a
remote.
I thought it was junk at first but then I realised something. As I threw the remote in the
recycling bin I must have hit one of the buttons. My enemy Kevin froze. He stayed in one
position. A few minutes went by. Then Kevin unfroze. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I rubbed
them. It wasn’t a dream this was actually happening!
I went to bin and picked the remote up. The first thing I did was check if the batteries were
in it. They were. I started thinking for a minute. I thought of something bad, horrible, mean.
I am going to use the remote at sport. “ Yes now I can stop getting picked on by Kevin, if
this remote can pause, rewind and fast forward, I am going to use on Kevin in the races.’’
“6/D come on, the bus is here.” Yelled Mr Dolan It wasn’t a very long trip, only half an hour.
But it felt like forever. I just could not wait to use the remote on Kevin, and after I do, I will
be the most popular kid in the school!
My twin sister wasn’t on the same bus as me, but when we got there I saw Chloe, I walked
with the sport instructor, his name is Kurt. We had team’s, I was on Kevin’s team.
“yes,” I cried. “What?.” I turned around. It was my sister. “Um nothing, nothing” I replied. I
could hear in my voice I wanted to spit it out, but I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. She’ll tell on me
in for sure. So I kept a secret. I can’t wait until the big one.
“Last call for the 100 metre sprint. I repeat last call for the 100 metre sprint.” announced
Kurt on the speaker.
“This is it “I wailed. “ It for what James?” “oh, ah just getting warmed up.” “Oh are you?”
“Yep.” “I’m keeping an eye on you.” I had to be real careful, now I got my sister on my
back.
BANG! , the gun let out a loud pop. Off we go, of course Kevin was in the lead. I was
worried someone would see me. I pulled out the remote and I pointed it at Kevin, and
whoosh! He paused and I zoomed straight pass him through to the finish. I was hoping no
one had seen me. I quickly un paused him. He looked puzzled. My family ran over to cheer
me on. ”JAMES!” oh no my sister had seen me. “What?” I replied. “I saw what you did, you
have a remote and you froze Kevin. I saw everything.” My sister cried. “You’re a cheater I
busted you red handed.”
Is this true James. Did you really do that?” mum seemed angry. When they found out what
the remote could do they crushed it and threw it into the bottom of the ocean. I got
suspended because of my little sister. I got busted.
Susana

Susan is a robber.
One day she finds out
that scientists are
working on a remote
that can control
anything so she steals
it. Susan pauses the
security cameras on the banks and robs them . Her twin
sister Susana was looking for the TV remote. She found
the remote but it wasn’t the TV remote it was the
R.T.C.P.P.F.R.A.A.A.A (which stands for remote that
can pause, play, fast forward and rewind anything at
all) next to the bag of money . Susana returns the banks
money but keeps the remote.
Susana pauses her sister to defend herself but Susan
snatches before Susana snatches the remote before
Susana can do anything. Susan freezes the planet but it
does not affect Susan because Susan has used the
remote for good so Susan takes it back freezes her
sister plays the planet and makes Susan work for
Susana for the rest of her life.

“Bang!--the demons are after us”, said Sam.
“Dean Can you see any?” asked Bobby.
“No. I’m not sure where they are”, shouted Dean.
“Sam and Dean watch out!” shouted Bobby, “There’s a demon
behind you.”
“Ahhhhhhhhh!!” screamed Sam and Dean.
“Sam, Dean where are you?” shouted Castell to Bobby “The head
demon has taken them away.”
“It’s dark in here” Sam said.
“Tell me about it,” said Sam. “Dean is that you?”
“Nar,” Dean replied.
“Well, well, well. The two brothers are back, “said Lucifer. “Sam
and Dean what have you been up to? Get it? Because we’re in the all mighty tower.”
“Yes we get it,” said Sam and Dean.
“So why exactly are we here?” asked Dean.
“Because I need something from you,” said Lucifer.
“Castell can you make me a remote that can rewind, fast forward and pause “said Bobby.
“I will try” said Castell.
“Sam why does he want our souls?” said Dean.
“I don’t know Dean,” said Sam

“Bobby why are you here?” said Sam.
“Because I need to do this,” said Bobby. Bobby pulls out the remote. He presses rewind.
Sam and Dean go back to their house before they went hunting in the first place.
“How are we back?” said Sam.
“Bobby did this with that weird remote thing,” said Castell. “Bobby put his life in danger,”
said Dean.
“Sam, we need to go and get him before Lucifer kills him,” said Dean.

One day there was a boy named Bob and he was an overweight bully that had
been teasing a girl called Mary and she was a popular girl at school and the
main character was holly and she also popular at school and that was high
school.
At lunch one day they herd their names being called over the speaker so we
went to the office and so the office and they said the school cleaner wants to
see us so we went to the school cleaners room just before we got there I said to
holly I think this is a trick I wouldn’t go in there but we did and the school
cleaner did not want to see us it was a trick but luckily the cleaner left this
remote in there so we had never seen one before so we tried a button and we
thought that one was
The next day when I went
to school bob asked if we
could I play with Holly
and Mary and they said
yes so they kept playing
what they were plying
and they we’re playing
hide n seek tip and so
bob was in next and he
counted to 30 and found Mary first then Holly so then Mary is and the
played that for another 30 minutes. After that it was class time and at
recess we kept playing hide n seek tip. When it was home time bob asked
if we wanted to come over and we said no because we do dancing every
two days but you can come over tomorrow if you are allowed to we will be
home all day tomorrow. He said yes so he came over and we played hide
n seek because it was raining outside so we had to play it inside, then we
played naughts and crosses and the last thing we did was drawing and we
got to see that bob is very good at drawing, after that he went home.
My remote control by Maksim
One day Maksim saw Maksim went to
school and he had a game of handball. He
used the remote control to stop the ball when
it hit his square. Then he pressed forward and
didn’t lose the game. Then he went to the
class. Willy was saying rude word and
punching him. He was so angry I wanted to
use my remote control to stop him, but I
pressed the wrong button. It was restart. The
teacher came in and got him in trouble. Willy
the bully didn’t like him. Then we did some
spelling but at the started cheating by
stopping all of the class and writing down the
answers. Then I pressed forward and waited
for the class finishes the spelling.
Once the dragons came, Maksim wanted to
use the remote control but the dragon has taken the remote control out of my
hands and run away. I told
“What is that strange thing the dragon took?” said Joe.” “That was the remote
control that could stop anything!
So Maksim told him that we need some mirrors to defend.
“I know a mountain of dragons! Let’s go there. That is the

Zac was having a normal day, just walking back
from school when he looked up and saw a dark
figure falling from the sky. That was also the last
thing he saw, as it hit his head and he passed out.
He woke up an hour later finding that it was five
o’clock. He stood up and found what had fallen
from the sky.
“A remote, really,” Zac said. He decided to take it
home but it didn’t look very normal. Zac finally
reached his house finding that it was empty. He
remembered that his mum said she would be out.
So he took this time to look at the remote. He
walked up the stairs to his room but tripped. His
dog Frank froze. Zac had hit the pause button on the remote as he fell and paused
Frank. He realised that this was a dangerous weapon.
Zac ran to the phone and called his friend John. John wasn’t really that smart but he
was one of Zac’s best friends. Zac forgot about his dog Frank and ran to unfreeze him.
But instead of pressing play Zac pressed fast forward. His dog frank sped down the
stairs and tripped Zac. Zac fell face first and the remote slid out of Zac’s hands. He
screeched, “NNNNOOOOOOO.” It went straight out the window hitting a car on its
journey. “WWHOOAAA!!” John yelled. The car had nearly hit him.
“Watch it.” Yelled John When the car span out the remote flew off the car and into
John’s hands.
“What’s this?” john. John ran to Zac’s house to tell him about the accident and the
remote. He arrived at Zac’s house ran up the stairs tripped and….. Zac was frozen.
John had accidentally frozen Zac. The effect would wear off in five minutes but it was
very CREEPY!
John ran away in fear, dropping the remote. 5 MINUTES LATER.
“I’m finally free.” Zac said with joy. John had thrown the remote into a backyard. There
was one problem. The remote wasn’t in Zac’s backyard. It was in his neighbours.
Except he was too scared to go because there was an enormous and vicious DOG!
The dog had been carrying the remote in his mouth. It pointed the remote to the ground
and pressed pause. The world was frozen except for Zac. Zac jumped so he wouldn’t
get frozen. He went outside and Zac saw a very large shape from the sky. “ALIENS!”
screamed Zac. The alien landed and said,
“What?” Said Zac.
“My name is Jeff.” said the alien. “I will get the remote and leave. Everything will be
back to normal in 5 minutes, Goodbye.” In five minutes everything was back to normal.
As for Jeff he was never seen again, well not in Zac’s house at least.
The Jungle Remote by Natasha M.
One Tuesday morning 5/6B went on an
excursion to the jungle. They travelled in a bus
to the Shoalhaven River. Next they got into a
large boat and sailed into the jungle near Berry
Sport and Recreation centre. 5/6B finally got to
the jungle. Rose the tourist guide said,
“Stay together everyone because someone
might snatch you and we won’t k now. Let’s
walk along.”
However, Lilly forgot to tie her shoelaces.
When everyone walked off she was tying her
shoelaces and jumped up. When she turned
around everyone was gone.
“Oh chicken nuggets!” screamed Lilly. “Where did everyone go. If I was an explorer
where would I go? Maybe they will go right. There’s a right arrow.” So Lilly went right.
She went right for one reason and one reason only. Evil Professor Emma was eaves
dropping on Lilly since she got there. Evil Professor Emma took the left sign after 5/6B
got there and before Lilly got there after a few minutes. Lilly ran and ran. Then she
tripped over a black rectangle thing with green square buttons on it. Since Lilly was
unconscious she bumped into a tree. A few minutes after Lilly found the remote. Evil
Professor Emma trapped her in a cage. Once Evil Professor Emma got the remote Lilly
woke up. Evil Professor Emma asked Lilly,
“How do you know about the remote?”
Lilly said, “Give me the remote and I’ll be your friend.”
“Ok. Here’s the remote,” replied Emma.
Lilly rewound the Evil Professor Emma. Then she went backwards. Lilly stopped then
thought about it. Then she rewound the remote and said, “Let’s be friends.”
“Ok,” said Emma, “ go hide the remote.”
That’s what happened and they lived happily ever after until Lilly went home. Every
weekend Emma called her and played with her.

Mary was a school student in high school. One day her dad went out
shopping and bought a remote control for $50 dollars. When he came
back he gave it to her, she went and tried it out on everybody.
Then Mary went the next day to show guts and then he took it off her.
Mary said “Get back here you little rascal and pass me back that
remote now I need it”. As guts were running he started to push one of
the buttons. The button that he pushed was to make you do crazy
stuff. He zapped the school cleaner the school cleaner started to
dance. Then Mary finally got the remote back
Then Mary went and told the teachers on guts. Guts were put on
detention for a week. Then he was never being mean again to Mary

down,

the books all over the floor. He gets frozen then rewound,

shoots the remote and James goes to a place for weird people,

The mysterious remote control by Stacey E.
This is how it all began it all started when the new girl came to our school. I liked
her until she started hanging out with Bruno; he is known as the world’s meanest
bully. At first she had no friends so I helped her and all she did was listen to Bruno,
they’re first cousins. After everyone knew that they were cousins she started to
become popular. Then I became lonely with no friends to play with and no one to
talk to. Soon after that Michael asked for money. He didn’t really have that much
food; it was my only chance for at least one friend so I gave him $10. All he did was
give half the amount of money to Bruno.
I had to do something about it! I walked past him
and he said “Give me some money” and he spat
on my shoe. I went crazy because I had just
bought these shoes last night. They were brand
new converse, the latest style. The spit was
running all over so I ran to the bubblers to go
wash it off. I went home and Dad popped out a
remote control. It looked more like a thick piece
of glass.
He said to me “Would you like to have it? I got it from the shop”.
Am I allowed to take it? I said. “It’s all yours but don’t show anyone remember”. I
knew this was going to be good I said in my mind.
Three days later I took it to school. I showed no one because I knew that they
would tell Bruno. As I turned my back I saw a whole crowd running to me. I ran,
something was telling me that they were heading for the control. They’re running
I’m running I’m not that fast. Suddenly a voice appears to my ears. It’s Bruno. And
he took the control and shined it on me. I saw a shining light looking at me, it was
the control. He pressed the button and froze. He went to the technology room to
make a bomb explosive.
It’s heading for us”, they said. He unfreezes me and freezes everyone else. They
are scared. I bolted to the computer to remake a magical control. It downloads for
a second and comes out. The computer says 3 seconds left. I stop it and unfreeze
everyone else then I become more and more popular.
The Bizarre Remote Control by Lilly Igano
“Hahaha I’ve got you now you little girl, do you want to go cry to you boyfriend.”
Said Rex. Bilbo came along and said “yeah you ugly girl, go kiss your boyfriend.”
“He’s not my boyfriend, he’s just a close friend,” Maddie replied and stormed off
to Will. Will and Maddie were best friends. Will walked towards Rex and Bilbo,
while they were bulling someone else. Will stormed over to Rex and Bilbo “Stop
being mean to Maddie and everyone else,” yelled Will. “What are you going to
do!” Growled Rex. “I’m standing up for all of the people that are being bullied”
Growled Will. Bilbo has seen someone hiding behind Will. It was Maddie crying.
“Are you standing up for your girlfriend that is hiding behind your back?” asked Bilbo. “ Yes I am! She’s not my
girlfriend. Come on Maddie don’t worry about these bullies,” Will said and he stuck out his tongue. ‘Ding Dong Ding
Dong’. Children were running everywhere. “Class is dismissed” Called the teacher. Maddie and Will walked home.
They passed Rex and Bilbo’s house. “I’m sorry about this afternoon” Will apologized. “It’s okay. He does that every
day. I’m used to it” said Maddie. “Bye” said Will as Maddie walked inside of her house. Will finally made it to his
home. “Honey, is that you.” Said Wills Mum “Yeah.” He dropped his bag and jumped on the lounge. He grabbed the
TV remote. He tried to turn the TV on and it didn’t work. He pressed fast forward and the fish next to the TV swam
really fast. Will looked at the fish he pulled a weird face. He pressed pause the fish stopped. He took the remote and
said “ I’ve got to go to Maddie’s house” he ran as fast as he could to Maddie’s house. He knocked on the door and
Maddie’s mother answered the door “Will how are you doing?” she said. “Good, is Maddie here?” Will asked. Will
walked to Maddie’s bedroom. He walked straight into her room and he looked at Maddie. She is dancing with her
headphones in her ears. “Will what are you doing here” asked Maddie. “It’s my remote,” Will said. “I can’t explain,
just watch” Maddie had a pet dog and it was chasing it’s tail. Will pressed pause and the dog paused Maddie picked
the dog up. “What did you do to my dog?” Asked Maddie. Will pressed play and the dog jumped out of Maddie’s
hands and started to chase it’s tail again. “I got to go home now but ill see you tomorrow.” He said. He took the
remote and walked home. He ran upstairs and put the remote in his draw. he went down stairs and had his dinner.
In the morning Will goes to school and works all morning, at lunch he sees a sign that says ‘SPAGHETTI EATING
CONTEST ON THE 18/01/03’ “That’s today”, Will said. Will put his name down on the list. Then the person behind
him was Rex and Bilbo “You’re not going to win. Your just a big loser!” They said. Rex took the remote out of Wills
hand and ran away Will chased after them. They ran down a street and Rex pressed pause. Will screamed “NOOOOO
don’t press the button!” Will froze. Rex and Bilbo both ran away and went to the spaghetti contest “OKAY EVERYONE
THE CONTEST STARTS IN 10 MINUTES!” Said the announcer. Will was still stuck in pause. Then it removed after three
minutes. He ran as fast as he could to the contest. He made it in time as they were marking the roll for the contest
‘Will Barker’ Called the teacher “Here, I’m a bit late but I’m here” Said Will. He sat next to Rex as the bowls were
placed on the table. Rex looked at Will with a cheeky grin and said in a quiet voice “you’re never going to win
without your remote.” ON YOUR MARKES, GET SET, GO! , Will is eating as fast as he could. He ate six bowls, then
seven, eight, nine, ten. Will had seen someone in the crowd as he was eating. He was running towards the table. It
was Bilbo with the remote. He was hiding behind the tub of spaghetti. He pointed the remote at Rex. He pressed a
button and Rex went twice as fast as a cheetah. Then he pointed the remote at Will and pressed the slow motion
and Will went as slow as a snail. He ate eleven bowls in 10 minutes. Rex ate thirty bowls in ten seconds. TEN, NINE,
EIGHT, SEVEN, SIX , FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE EVERYONE STEP AWAY FROM YOUR BOWLS. Will looked like a
stuffed chicken. After the contest the judge came around and looked in Wills mouth. Then looked at Rex’s mouth as
the judge was looking at Rex’s mouth he spewed in the judges face WILL BARKER YOU ARE THE WINNER. “Yes I won”
said Will. Maddie walked home with the trophy. And they lived happily ever after
