Jake is a 16 – 18 week old happy, bubbly puppy. He took the red eye from Perth to Melbourne
with his buddy Elwood after he was found wandering the streets of WA! Jake is a red brush
coat with a black mask and he has the loveliest eyes and big waggy tail.
He is a pretty good weight for his age at 14.1kg and is ripe to learn how to be a good boy with
regular obedience training. Jake will definitely need someone who will have the time to train
him. School on a weekly basis and 10 mins per day reinforcement should do the trick and then
by the time he is 12 months he will be a wonderful content and obedient dog.
Jakes food should consist of vet quality puppy kibble, chicken necks, chicken carcass mince,
yoghurt, vegies rice, chicken stock and a spot of flax seed oil to keep his skin and coat in peak
condition. As with all pei, Jake should have access to cool shelter throughout the summer
months and a soft warm bed inside the house at night.
A doggy girlfriend for company would be also be a wonderful thing as would regular walks, trips
to the park and car rides to make this bubba a very happy boy.
Jake is currently recovering from surgery to desex him and vaccinations, but will be available
for adoption by Christmas Eve, although if you think he may be the baby for you, we would
encourage you to meet him sooner rather than later!
