VILLAGE, MOUNTAIN & BOROBUDUR BY BIKE
06.00 or earlier. Departure from Yogyakarta prior to sunrise
(watching sunrise on the way)
oStarting to explore the early morning life through the villages by
unpredicted opportunities such as: traditional markets, villagers
activities, local indoor morning cooking, crop land laboring,
plowing rice fields, replanting rice, bird or other animal watching
etc.
oStops of call to feature the village home industries, such as:
bamboo plaiting and bamboo furniture manufacture, rice mill,
local food makings, fish farming etc.
oA call at school children class, to talk and chat with local people,
shower.
oOpportunity for shower bathing by the Progo river bank etc.
oPassing panoramic mountainous (second grade biking route)
route at Kalibawang village of Kulonprogo district.
13.00 Lunch at local restaurant.
14.00 Afternoon visit Borobudur temple, one of the world
wonders. The highlight visit of Borobudur is combined with
Pawon and Mendut temples.
16.00 Return by car for Yogyakarta.

Day 4
CAVE WALL'S ENCHANTING BEAUTIES ADVENTURE
Preparation:
oBe prepared to outfit properly for underground exploration for
being wet and muddy dirt: trekking shoes, long sleeve overcoat,
long trousers and gloves.
oClothes reserve is to bring along for changing your wet clothes
after the cave exploration.
07.00 Departure from Jogjakarta for driving through lush land
with various kinds of agricultural plants such as rice, vegetable,
pepper, sugarcanes etc.
09.00 Arrival at the site. Short briefing and equipment
preparation.
09.15 Ready for underground exploration. Flash light, properly
outfitted, mineral water are available. Immediately ingoing the
mouth of the cave by floating rubber tube we will be swallowed
by total dark of the underground natural tunnel and we start
drifting through the rift-bed of the cave.
Few minutes later your sight will excited by the enchanting beauty
of the cave wall ornaments. We will let you having your free time
for photo hunting under the surveillance of competent cave
professional guide for not being lost.
10.30 End of earth bowel expedition. Take a shower/bath and
undress your wet clothes to change with your reserved dress.
11.00 Drive to local Restaurant through the villages for photo
hunting.
12.00 Lunch at local restaurant.
13.00 Transfer to the airport.
06.00 Departure from hotel for Merapi Lava Plain. On the way
taking accidental stops to recognize the villager morning daily life
such as traditional market, farming activities etc.
07.00 Arrival at Merapi Lava Plain. Short briefing for trekking.
Exciting exploration of lahar deposit extensive terrain at the valley
of south east Merapi volcano. The always smoking peak is
beautifully seen at close distance Some devastated spots are
visible here and there such as house ruins, pyroclastic flow brooks
and valleys filled with volcanic eruption debris etc.
10.00 Drive for Kalikuning Valley and descending the precipice
bank of Kalikuning valley to start a light trekking with points of
interest during this trekking is focused on nature, endemic flora
and fauna, potable crystal water spring at Plunyon.
11.00 Arrival at Kaliurang mountain resort area. Start biking from
this point through villages.
12.00 Lunch served at local restaurant or at the hut in the middle
of the rice field or at the local house .
13.00 Drive for Prambanan temple.
13.45 Visit the most elegant 9th century Hindu temple of
Prambanan dominated by Shiva shrine surrounded by hundreds of
minor temples.
15.30 Return drive to Jogjakarta.

o Morning Program is identical to above program VILLAGE WONDERS.
To feature the village life, including the market, village school,
farming activities, home industries, food cooking, animal
watching, interaction with locals, traditional shower bathing, and
Lunch at fish and shrimp bistro.
(Afternoon: instead of returning to hotel, continue drive for Borobudur temple, one of
the world wonders).

08.00 Departure from Omah Kecebong by riding on an oxen cart,
passing through lust agricultural field and villages (for staying
client of other hotels should depart earlier for being ready at
08.00 at Rumah Kecebong)
08.00-10.00 Opportunity to have some stops to learn and to
recognize variable agricultural crops planted traditionally by local
farmers such as: rice, bean, corn, chili etc.
10.00-11.00 There after passing through peaceful road, by
Selokan Mataram (the historical water canal constructed by late
Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX) to proceed for the village to
perceive the local community life,watching the houses, kitchen, the
village customs and habits, animal husbandry.
11.00 Visit Jodag village to have lesson of the Batik making, to
experience practicing the batik processing conducted by the batik
tutors and of course opportunity to do Batik Shopping with
reasonable price.
Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied on piece of white
cloth by drawing dots and lines of the melting wax using a
spouted tool called canting (spelled chanting), or by stamps using
a copper stamp called “cap”.
13.00 Return to Omah Kecebong for Lunch.
14.00 Supplement activity to have a dress up in traditional
Javanese costume as a compliment by the management of Omah
Kecebong and don't forget be ready with your camera.
06.00 Transfer from Omah Kecebong or other hotels in
Yogyakarta to Kali Adem at Mount Merapi valley.
07.30-10.30 Merapi adventure on four wheel drive car (1 Jeep
maximum for 4 people).
MINI MUSEUM
The Remaining Of My Wealth, a museum that displays the
evidence of the eruption magnitude of Mount Merapi.
MERAPI VOLCANO BUNKER
A safety hiding hole against the deadly pyroclastic eruptions. This
bunker used to grab the life of 2 volunteers during the 2006
Merapi eruption.
ALIEN STONE
This enormous large volcanic rock resembles a crying man face on
the edge of Gendol gorge valley.
KALI KUNING (means Yellow river)
A sand mining area to unforgetable experience driving on jeep
speeding passing the water flow beds.
10.30-11.00 Transfer from Kali Kuning to Merapi Volcano
Museum.
11.00-12.00 The delightful opportunity to learn the geological
fenomenas displayed inside the narrative dioramas including the
replica of Mount Merapi and its surrounding eruption effects.
12.30-14.00 Downhill trip by bicycle through rice field, Salak
Garden and villages
