Misch, D.D.S., MDS, Ph.D. Dr. Carl E. Misch is Director of Oral Implantology, Continuing Education, University of Pittsburgh; Associate Clinical Professor, University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Engineering. Presented by: Carl E. Misch, D.D.S., MDS, Ph.D. Dr. Misch graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1973 from the University of Detroit Dental School and received his Prosthodontic Certificate and Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also received his Graduate Certificate in Implantology. Dr. Misch is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology and Board Chairman of the American College of Oral Implantology. Dr. Misch’s post graduate Honors include nine Fellowships in Dentistry, including: Fellow of the American College of Dentists, Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is past President of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of Implants and Transplants and holds editorial positions for several journals. He has published over 150 articles and has lectured in over 40 countries throughout the world. Known for his dedication and expertise in the field of implant dentistry, Dr. Misch is unconditionally committed to help set and elevate the standards of care in implant dentistry. Founded twenty-four years ago, the Misch International Implant Institute is recognized as the standard for advanced dental implant education. The Institute teaches the skills and techniques required to bridge the gap between what is learned in dental school and the critical knowledge needed to advance to a new level of patient care and practice success. Dr. Carl E. Misch developed the Misch International Implant Institute to help set and elevate the standard of care in implant dentistry using a hands-on training approach. The Misch International Implant Institute courses are unlike any other currently available. The Institute provides only the most progressive information, based on documented research literature, not based on “opinion” or an “in my hands” concept. In addition, a consistent philosophy ensures that information is presented in a logical sequence with non-conflicting opinion. Most other programs provide information by using a myriad of lectures and lecturers without consistency or a common thread to link the material in a usable format. This is frustrating, especially for the doctor on an early learning curve. Session 1: March 1 - 3, 2013 Sessions 2 & 3: November 21 - 24, 2013 Mail or E-mail Registration Form Mailing Address 207-300 York Mills Road, Toronto, ON M2L 2Y5 Course Location Delta Markham 50 East Valhalla Drive Markham, ON L3R 0A3 For additional information contact, Linda To at Phone : 416.566.9855 E-mail : [email protected] Participants at the Misch International Implant Institute are trained in techniques that can be reproduced. Past data has demonstrated an average success rate of 98.4%. Many of the concepts and methods presented have been developed or modified by Dr. Misch. These concepts are not provided in detail outside the Misch Implant Institute. Many graduates are now well-known speakers, authors and/or researchers in the field. The Institute offers programs both nationally and internationally and has trained more than 2,200 dentists over the last twenty-four years. It is important to note, given the medical-legal atmosphere and the high costs of dentistry overhead, dentists cannot afford to learn one of the most complicated patient treatments without a game plan. Attending 20 meetings by 100 different lecturers over a five-year period does not provide the experience and knowledge attainable through a structured one-year program. www.torontoimplantinstitute.com (Hosted by Bonferro Inc.)
