As more implants are placed and restored, our standard for excellence in these restorations from an esthetic, functional and long-term success outcome has increased tremendously. This high standard is limited by numerous complications both from a surgical and prosthetic standpoint. This presentation will discuss common and uncommon complications associated with implant prosthetic restorations. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to learn: • How to anticipate and avoid complications associated with removable and fixed implant prosthetic restorations. • How to deal with the challenges of implant prosthetics will be discussed using clinical examples. Featured speakers Dr. Neena D’Souza completed her graduate training in the specialty of Prosthodontics and a Master’s degree at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto.
