Maximizing Aesthetics for the Anterior Implant
Course description
Understanding and developing the implant-soft tissue interface is
an important component to delivering an esthetic restorative result.
Concerning ourselves with the gingival architecture throughout the
treatment planning and treatment delivery stages optimizes the final
outcome. This hands-on and lecture presentation will address important
aspects of developing the gingival emergence, accurately relaying this
emergence to the lab, and finally supporting the gingival outline with
custom abutments.
The evening will begin with a short presentation by Dr. Raman Kohli
and Mr. Fadi Touma, which will illustrate the advantages of customized
treatment over conventional treatment.
The presentation will be followed by a hands-on training session led by
Dr. Kohli and Mr. Touma.
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
• Fabricate a temporary crown for an implant
• Fabricate a custom impression coping
• Write a lab request for a custom patient-specific abutment
