Joy departs
Feadship
The SYT team were on scene to capture the 70 metre Joy as she was moved through the narrow canals
of Holland to reach the outskirts of Rotterdam on
16th June. With an exterior design by Bannenberg
& Rowell, Joy’s sharp cut exterior and unique deck
space layout is sure to turn heads. Fellow Londonbased design house Studio Indigo is responsible for
the yacht’s interior.

Mondomarine launches Ipanema
Mondomarine launched their sporty red-hulled superyacht
named Ipanema in June. Designed by Milan-based studio Hot Lab,
the all-aluminium yacht is based on a semi-displacement hull and
features a three-deck layout with a particularly spacious sundeck.
Her naval architecture is by Mondomarine Engineering, and her
sporty hull colour has been personally selected by the owner. She
is expected to be ready for delivery by the end of July.

Admiral Yachts
delivers 38m
Tremenda
Lucid Yacht Group, selling brokers of Admiral Yachts’ latest
superyacht, the 38 metre Tremenda, announced that she has
been delivered to her owners following a late-April launch. The
launching of Tremenda marked the third superyacht launch of
2016 for the Italian shipyard, succeeding the 55 metre Quinta
Essentia and the 50 metre Ouranos earlier this year. She features a masculine exterior from the drawing boards of Luca
Dini, with her opulent interior from Gian Marco Campanino
in collaboration with Admiral Centro Stile. Tremenda’s owner
will use her privately throughout the Mediterranean this summer season before heading to the Caribbean and U.S. waters.
Fulk Al Salamah readies to join Al Said
First unveiled in 2014, the 150+ metre superyacht under
construction at the Mariotti shipyard in Genoa that has been
known as project Saffron until now is named Fulk Al Salamah.
These new images show the vessel in a near completed state
suggesting that she could possibly be getting ready to join
what we believe is her mothership, the 155 metre Lürssen
superyacht Al Said based in Oman.
A 136 metre support vessel named Fulk Al Salamah currently forms part of the Omani Royal fleet, but this latest discovery
leads us to believe that this smaller vessel is to be renamed
and replaced by the newer Mariotti by the same name. The new
Fulk Al Salamah shares a number of similar exterior design
cues with the 155 metre Al Said such as her commercial grade
finish, aft-swept masts, and large awnings on the two forward
upper decks.
