May 2014, 3rd place at the Opera-Contest "Terra degli Imperiali" in Francavilla, (Italy) December 2013 - Winner of the special price "The Song-Price" in the international opera competition "Marie Kraja" in Tirana (Albania). Presented by the Rotary Club di Cittadella (Italy), as part of the group "I Nuovi talenti 2014", promoting the best students of the academies and schools in the aria of Veneto. November 2015 formal debut in Rossini’s Barbiere di Siviglia as Almaviva Cont at Teatro Testoni of Porreta Terme, Bologna (Italy) under stage direction of Lorenzo Giossi. September 2015 debut as Edgardo in Donizeti’s "Lucia di Lammermoor" in the Ludwig-Thoma-House Theater in Dachau (Germany) under the musical direction of Marco Antonio Mendoza. In July he took part in the Opera Studio of the "Musik Festivals Sozopol" in Bulgaria, under the lead of Maestra Soprano Darina Takova with the Puccini Opera "La Rondine" in the roll of Ruggero. In January 2015 he debuted in the role of Prince Tamino in Mozart's "Zauberflöte", in original language, in a production of the "Oper im Berg Festival" in Salzburg, under the direction of Mº. Nakazawa. In July 2014 made his formal debut in Verdi’s Traviata in the roll of Alfredo at the Opera Festival of Bassano del Grappa (Italy) as part of the opera season, under direction of Mº Steffano Romani and scenes by Federico Bertolani. 2013 he debuted in the role of Ferrando in Mozart's "Così fan tutte" at the Theatre Community Unterföhring,(Germany) and Dachau, under the direction of Mº Schuler-Meybier and directed by Barbara S. Weber. May 2013 debut as Rodolfo in Puccini's "La Bohème", a production of "Opera incognita" under the direction of Mº Ernst Bartmann and directed by Mº Andreas Wiedermann in the ArtCenter, Dorfen, Castle Nyphenburg (Hubertussaal) in Munich and in the Theater "Am Haagen", Straubing (Germany). 2012 he continued his vocal studies in Salzburg under the direction of Maestro Tenor Mario Diaz with a full scholarship and made his first appearance in Germany in 2013, at the Theater an der Roth in Eggenfelden in the Terence McNally’s play "Master Class" as Tony Candolino. 2011-2012 he debuted at "L'Academia di Santa Croce" in the city of Trieste (Italy), with the role of Nemorino in Donizetti's "L'Elisir d'Amore" under the direction of Mº Baritone Alessandro Svab, and at Livorno (Italy) under the direction of Mº Alessio Pizzech in the same year. He was selected by the Tuscan Labaratory Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, to debut as Don Ottavio in the Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni", and repeated it at Miramar Castle in Trieste. 2010 debuts as Count Almaviva in Rossini's "The Barber of Seville", Alfredo in Verdi's "La Traviata" and Duke in Verdi's "Rigoletto" at the Cultural Association "Musica a Palazzo" in Venice (Italy). His first appearance in Italy was 2009 at Livorno city, at the Teatro Goldoni in the role of Fatty in Weill's "Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny" as a member of the "Laboratorio Lirico Toscana" under the direction of Mº Jonathan Web and stage direction Mº Alessio Pizzech. 2009 to 2012 he got his Italian Citizenship and with a Mexican scholarship from the company Mercasol to continue his studies in classical singing technique in every country he lived. In Venice (Italy), he received private lessons for three years under the guidance of Mª Alessandra Althoff Pugliese. Additionally he participated in her specialization courses at the University Mozarteum of Salzburg (Austria) and the Academy "Ca Zenobio" Treviso (Italy). From 2007 to 2008 he was a member of the "Philadelphia Internatioal Opera Theater" under the direction of Mª Karen Saillont, in contemporary operas about Shakespeare , in Philadelphia (United States) and Città della Pieve (Italy). In the same year, he was selected as a student for the "Opera Works Program" at the Northern California State University of Los Angeles (United States), where he studied under the direction of Mª Ann Baltz. 2007 he continued his vocal studies in Mexico city with Mª Soprano Adriana Diaz de León and later with Mº Bariton Arturo Nieto until his departure to Europe. Between 2003 and 2006 he studied vocal technique and worked in the organization of the "Academia Internazional de Canto Willy Gutierrez" in México City. 2002 he debuted in his first operetta in "Molinos de viento" by Pablo Luna with the lead role of Captain Alberto, a production of the “Escuela Nacional de Musica”at the theater Vizcaínas in México City, under the direction of Mº Ricardo Cinta y Lourdes Villanueva, within the group of students of Maestro Enrique Jaso Mendoza. www.rodrigotrosino.com Tel: (+39) 33-3563-6962 [email protected] In 2000 simultaneously to his vocal formation he graduated in theater studies at the "Centro de Educacion Artistica Televisa" C.E.A., in México City. From 1999-2008 he worked as an actor in plays of classic theater authors such as Molière, Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, Oscar Wilde, Juan Rulfo, etc., mainly being a member of Mº Luis Miguel Vallez company, which is now transformed into the prestigious “Teatro Hipodromo Condesa”. At the same time he began his musical education at the "Escuela Libbre de Musica" in Mexico City.
