SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
For First Communion, the student must be in First Grade or 6 – 13 years old, be able
to read and write in English or Spanish. This is a two year program.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA/RCIC)
RCIC (children) students who need the Sacraments of initiation must be 6 – 17 years

for Baptism. Interviews will be conducted by appointment with a priest or deacon.

Tomorrow is the celebration of The
Immaculate Conception of the
Blessed Virgin Mary
Is a Philippine spiritual tradition of celebrating Advent to heighten the
celebration of the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. It is a series of nine
dawn masses before Christmas, with each mass followed by a
reception and fellowship. The Samahang Filipino organization would
like to share this beautiful spiritual experience and Christmas tradition
with the whole parish. The masses will be held daily at 5:30am from
December 16, 2014 to December 24, 2014, here at Most Holy Trinity.

Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.
In his arms he gathers the lambs, carrying them in his bosom,
and leading the ewes with care.
God,
Mary’s blessedness derives from the sole fact of “God
is with her.” Her life was always full of grace, because she
experienced your inseperable presence by her. When joyfull, she
offered gratitude. When sorrowful, she received consolation.
I also long for Mary’s graciousness, which is to feel
your constant presence. When at work or at rest. In the midst of
crowds or being alone. Especially, when I’m lost and
disappointed.
Loving me, you want to be with me. For me to love
you, I need to recognize your presence. No blemishes or failures
of mine make you love me less. On the contrary, as I drown in
my sinfulness, you all the more want to be closeby, so that your
love erases my faults, and your holiness wipes out my sins.
Here I am, form and console me, sanctify and
transform me. So that, day by day, I realize how much you love
me, and I’m at peace. For like Mary, I have you with me
always. Amen.
God,
Hold me in your arms. Let me feel the calming trust
like a baby in his mother’s arms. Whatever my age, however
busy I’m, I’m no more than a child facing the mysteries of life,
amidst waves and storms, in my own weakensses. The more
I’m aware of my own litteness, the more I yearn for your
loving arms.
When I’m unable to fall asleep or wake up at
midnight, hasten my steps toward your consoling arms,
absorbing my restlessness into your warming love, so that in
the quiet night I still hear your voice, “I love you, my child.”
Help me care for those whom you entrust in me. Help
me come to the lonely and the desperate with an empathetic
heart, prayers, concerning eyes, as you always invite me to do.
Above all, when my heart is empty and dry, let me
come to you to be filled with you, the source of all love and
grace. Amen.

Dios,
La bendición de María deriva del hecho que"Dios está
con ella." Su vida siempre estuvo llena de gracia, porque ella
experimentó tu presencia inseparable. Cuando contenta, ofreció
gratitud. Cuando triste, ella recibió consuelo.
Yo también anhelo la gracia de María, la cual es sentir
su presencia constante. Cuando en el trabajo o en descanzo. En
medio de las multitudes o al estar solo. Sobre todo, cuando
estoy perdido y decepcionado.
Amandome, quieres estar conmigo. Para que te quiera,
necesito reconocer tu presencia. No hay defectos o errores míos
que te hagan amarme menos. Por el contrario, entre mas me
ahogo en mi pecado, tanto aun más quieres estar mas cerca, para
que tu amor borre mis faltas, y tu santidad borre mis pecados.
Aquí estoy, moldeame y consolame, santifícame y
transformame. Así que, día a día, me de cuenta de lo mucho que
me amas, y yo estoy en paz. Para que, como María, te tenga
siempre conmigo. Amén.
En sus brazos acogera las ovejas, las cargara en su regazo y
las guiara con cariño.

It is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little
ones be lost.
Those who hope in the LORD will renew strength, they will
soar as with eagles’ wings; they will run and not grow weary,
walk and not grow faint.
God,
Every blade of grass, petal, body, soul, they all come
from your creative power and love. Thus, every creature is
holy, simply because it receives sanctity from its Creator. And
every creature is called to grow in holiness according to your
salvific plan.
As for humanity, you created us in your own image
and likeness. And you call us to be as holy as you are holy.
Your heart breaks when one of us goes astray. You
ask me to help you bring the lost sheep back. Teach me how to
use prayers and concrete acts to nudge it to come home to
family and the Church.
Remind us that lostness often begins in thoughts,
thoughts engender deeds, deeds repeated enough become
habit, and when habit becomes entrenched, it is too hard and
too late to return.
Give me patience in my efforts to sanctify myself and
others. Amen.
God,
No es la voluntad del Padre celestial que se pierda uno de los
más pequenos.
Los que tienen la esperanza en el Señor renovarans sus
fuerzas, volaran como con alas de águila; correrán y no se
cansarán, caminarán y no decaeran.
Why don’t I have the eagle’s strength? So that I run
and don’t grow weary, walk and not grow faint? Is it because I
don’t trust in you?
Is it because I’m too busy to realize your presence by
me? Or because I rely only on myself to fulfill my tasks, and
forget that I’m only your helper? Or perhaps because I think
my talents and skills are sufficient, so I don’t need your help?
Now, oh God, take my fatigued body and weary feet,
sluggish heart and worn-out spirit. I want to place them all in
your hands, to let your gentle and humble heart comfort me,
your light burden replace my heavy load.
God, I come to trust in you. Tomorrow, whether I
grow weary or not, I only ask for hope in you, today and
everyday of my life. Amen.

Cada hoja de hierba, pétalo, cuerpo, alma, todos
provienen de tu amor y poder creativo. Por lo tanto, toda
criatura es santa, simplemente porque recibe la santidad de su
Creador. Y toda criatura está siendo llamada a crecer en la
santidad de acuerdo a tu plan salvífico.
En cuanto a la humanidad, nos creaste a tu imagen y
semejanza. Y nos llamas a ser tan santos como tú eres santo.
Se rompe Tu Corazon cuando uno de nosotros va por
mal camino. Tu me pides que te ayude a traer las ovejas
perdidas de vuelta. Enséñame a usar oraciones y actos
concretos para empujar y volver a casa con la familia y la
Iglesia.
Nos recuerdas que la perdición muchas veces
comienza en los pensamientos, los pensamientos engendran
obras, obras repetitivas se convierten en hábitos, y cuando el
hábito se acumula, es demasiado duro y demasiado tarde para
volver.
Dame paciencia en mis esfuerzos por santificarme a
mi mismo y a los demás. Amén.
Dios,
¿Por qué no tengo la fuerza de un águila? Para correr
y no cansarme, caminar y no decaer? ¿Sera porque no confío
en ti?
¿Sera porque estoy demasiado ocupado para darme
cuenta de tu presencia en mí? O porque confio sólo en mí
mismo para cumplir con mis tareas, y olvido que sólo soy tu
ayudante? O tal vez porque creo que mis talentos y habilidades
son suficientes, por lo que no necesito de tu ayuda?
Ahora, oh Dios, toma mi cuerpo fatigado y pies
cansados, corazón lento y espíritu desgastado. Quiero ponerlos
en tus manos, para dejar que tu corazón manso y humilde me
consuele, que tu carga ligera reemplace mi carga pesada.
Dios, confio en ti. Mañana, casado o no, yo sólo pido
esperanza en ti, hoy y todos los días de mi vida. Amén.

The afflicted and the needy seek water in vain, their tongues
are parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them.
May it be done to me according to your word.
God,
God,
When life is peaceful, and I’m surrounded by care
and kind words, I feel my life is like a verdant field, lacking in
nothing.
But as hardship and illness strike, many times I feel
lonely and empty; even when I’m in a crowd, no one seems to
care, and cricical words assault me. I’m overwhelmed with
smarting sorrow.
Whether life is a green field or a barren desert, happy
or lonely, are these feelings merely my reactions to people or
circumstances? What about my heart and soul? It’s a meadow
or desert? What about my attitude toward others? Is it a cool
shade for people to take refuge or a heated boulder that burns?
God, let me come to you to ease my thirst, to lessen
my pain, not with my feet or words, but with my longing
heart. So that I also become a refuge and and a verdant field to
welcome those you send my way. Amen.
Before Jesus taught his disciples the prayer Our Father
with the phrase, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,”
Mary understood that and responded with the same desire, as if
she had anticipated Jesus’ prayer.
How often have I said the Our Father without
realizing that I’m invited to do the same? More importantly,
what is your will for me? How do I discover your will for me?
Help me to learn to listen to your word, in prayer, at home, or at
work, so that I can discover your will.
For Mary, your will for her was not what she
originally hoped, but she submitted to the angel’s word. What
happens if your will for me is not what I expect, or even against
what I want? Grant me the courage to do the same as Mary did:
Obedience.
May the Lady of Guadalupe intercede for me to be
obedient to your will and share her graciousness. Amen.
Los afligidos y los necesitados buscan agua en vano, sus
lenguas están resecas por la sed. Yo, el Señor, les responderé.

Antes de que Jesús enseñó a sus discípulos la oración
del Padre Nuestro con la frase: "Hágase tu voluntad así en la
tierra como en el cielo," María entendió eso y respondió con el
mismo deseo, como si se hubiera anticipado a la oración de
Jesús.
Cuántas veces he dicho que el Padre Nuestro sin darse
cuenta de estoy invitado a hacer lo mismo? Más importante,
cuál es tu voluntad para mí? Cómo puedo descubrir tu voluntad
para mí? Ayúdame aprender a escuchar tu palabra, en la
oración, en el hogar o en el trabajo, de modo que pueda
descubrir tu voluntad.
Para María, tu voluntad para ella no era lo que
esperaba al principio, pero ella se acogió a la palabra del ángel.
¿Qué pasa si tu voluntad para mí no es lo que yo espero, o

Cuando la vida es tranquila, y estoy rodeado de
cuidados y palabras amables, siento que mi vida es como un
campo verde que no le falta nada.
Pero a medida que las dificultades y las enfermedades
llegan, muchas veces me siento solo y vacío; incluso cuando
estoy entre tanta gente, nadie parece importarle, y muchas
veces los pensamientos me asaltan. Estoy abrumado con un
inmenso dolor.
Ya se que la vida sea un campo verde o un desierto
estéril, feliz o solitaria, acaso son meras sensaciones de mis
reacciones a personas o circunstancias? ¿Qué hay de mi
corazón y alma? Es un prado o un desierto? ¿Qué pasa con mi
actitud hacia los demás? ¿Es una fresca sombra que da a las
personas para que se refugien o una roca caliente que quema?
Dios, dejame acercarme a Ti para aliviar la sed, para
disminuir mi dolor, no con los pies o palabras, pero con el
anhelo de mi corazón. Para que asi pueda ser un refugio y un
campo verde y recibir a los que has puesto en mi camino.

God,
The prophet’s words come from you yourself,
warning those held in deadly darkness and calling them home.
Thus, it’s the fire of light clearing away the dark; it’s the
conflagration of lasting judgment. The blaze forces humans to
choose between God’s shining truth and the evil’s damning
darkness.
What about my own words? Every word of mine
could be a small flame guiding the lost, but also could be a
bucket of chilly water pouring on a weakening body. Every
word could be warmth to a cold soul or a lonely heart, but also
could be an icy gust buffeting at shaky feet and blistered lips.
Oh God, help me realize that I shouldn’t let just any
word roll off of my mouth carelessly, if I want my words to
please you and lift up others, words of love spreading the
Good News.
Above all, make me listen to you and others, so that I
know what they need and what I can do, according to your
will. Amen.

sobre decorativo del árbol de Navidad adornando el altar de la iglesia
y se le pide que done una tarjeta de VISA o del banco/tienda predilecta
con valor de $10 dólares como ayuda para que familias necesitadas
puedan comprar un regalito a sus hijos. Si alguna familia quisiera
donar más de una tarjeta puede pero tienen que ser por valor de $10
cada una. La iglesia regalara una tarjeta por niño que será utilizada
para ayudar a las familias necesitadas a comprar regalito a sus hijos
ahora en Navidad. Feligreses que conozcan familias necesitadas con
niños se les pide que completen el VOLANTE con la información
requerida, con letra de molde para poder leerla y la traigan a la
SACRISTIAantes del 17 de Diciembre o echen el volante en el canasto
de la iglesia de la colecta durante la misa(s) del Sábados y Domingos;
Diciembre 14 y 15.

Dios,
Las palabras del profeta vienen de ti mismo, dando
advertencia a todos lo que están en la obscuridad mortal y los
llama a casa. Así, es el fuego de luz que quita la obscuridad; es
el fuego intenso del juicio final. Las fuerzas resplandecientes
de los humanos para escoger entre la verdad brillante de Dios
y la condenación maligna de la obscuridad.
Qué hay de mis propias palabras? Cada palabra mía
podría ser una flama pequeña que guía al perdido, pero podría
ser también un balde de agua fría que se vacía en una persona
débil. Cada palabra debería ser consoladora a un alma fría o a
un corazón solitario, pero también puede ser un viento con
hielo que penetra hasta los huesos y te hace tiritar los labios.
Dios mío, ayúdame a entender que no debería dejar
que alguna palabra que salga de mi boca sin querer, si quiero
que mis palabras te agraden y ayuden a otros, palabras de
amor que derramen la Buena Nueva.
Sobre todo, ayúdame a escucharte y escuchar a otros,
para saber qué es lo que necesitan y que puedo hacer de
acuerdo a tu voluntad. Amén.

In the spirit of Christmas we are asking members of our community to
contribute to assist needy families in our Most Holy Trinity parish by
taking a decorated envelope from our Christmas Tree at the Alter in
our church to donate NOT A PRESENT but a $10 gift-card (VISA or
any bank/store will do) for needy children in our community. If
someone would like to donate more than one gift-card we ask that you
can do as many as you want with a value of $10 each. Church will
distribute one gift-card per child. To designate the gift card to the
appropriate member of the needy family we ask that Parishioners fill
out the NEEDY/FAMILY INFORMATION in portion below enclosed
in Sunday’s bulletin. Must be filled out completely, in PRINT,
and turn it over to Rectory no later than December 18 or turn it
in Saturday or Sunday, December 13th and 14th in the collection basket
during Mass.

Most Holy Trinity Preschool
Most Holy Trinity Preschool is now enrolling for the 2014-2015
school year! Most Holy Trinity preschool accepts children from 3
years of age up to entry into kindergarten. Our program helps
students learn their letters, numbers, and helps to improve on the
student’s fine motor and gross motor skills. In addition to these skills
the teachers also help the students to develop the social skills needed
before entering kindergarten. By bringing your child to preschool you
are setting them up for a lifelong love of learning.
Dear Most Holy Trinity Community,
On December 5th, our faculty and students will be attending a
performance of the Nutcracker Ballet. Thank you Mrs. Smith
for arranging the field trip.
Most Holy Trinity Preschool has a variety of program options to meet
any family’s needs. We offer care Monday –Friday from 7am-6pm.
You can enroll your child in a half day program, 8am-12pm, or a full
day program, 8am-4pm. From 7am-8am and 4pm-6pm we offer an
extended care program for the children. We also offer 5, 3, and 2 day
a week care, to meet the needs of your family.
If you are interested in finding out more information about our
program please feel free to call us at (408) 929-2287. We would love
for your family to come in for a tour of our wonderful facility.
We will have a fundraiser at Red Robin on December 10th. We
will receive a percentage of the sales from the restaurant that
day. If you are planning to go out to dinner on December 10th,
please choose to dine at Red Robin.

The winter season is full of delicious dishes and treats, but no one
likes the extra calories and added pounds than can come with the
seasonal food. Use these smart tips on substitutions and choices to
enjoy your favorite winter beverages. You’ll stay healthy and look
good in those family pictures!
Rompope:
Llene el vaso con ½ - ¾ partes de leche baja en grasa o leche
descremada y una pequeña parte rompope. Usted todavía tendrá
el sabor sin todas las calorías
Eggnog:
Mix it up. Fill your glass with ½ - ¾ parts of low fat or skim milk
and one small part eggnog. You’ll still get the flavor without all the
calories
