Parker's President and CEO, Michael N. Rosenblut, added, "The restored synagogue is not only a beautiful place for religious services, but also a reminder that Parker, through its multi-denominational chapel and other amenities, is a place where residents and patients can remain firmly connected to family, friends and faith." Our advocacy presentations highlighted the importance of the Medicare and Medicaid programs, the value that not-for-profits provide to residents and their communities, and the danger of across-the-board cuts to access and quality of care - especially in light of the unprecedented numbers of baby boomers entering the Medicare ranks. Parker's President and CEO, Michael N. Rosenblut, remarked at several meetings: "As individual citizens, concerned families, and organizations that are integral parts of the economy, we readily acknowledge the difficult federal budget problems, but we urge Congress and the Administration to take a measured, thoughtful approach to budget issues."
